Rose looked at Nightpaw and padded a bit nervously towards Briarstar's den. "Should I just go in?" She mewed to him flicking her tail.

Koitail looked relieved that Briarstar seemed happy, and instead went to Hawkwing and not to her. "Congratulations!" She purred to Brackenheart. "I know its not the greatest way to become deputy, but you should enjoy being it."

"Ask if you can first. I'll be right behind you." Nightpaw murmured.

Rose cleared her throat, she glanced at Nightpaw then at the den before asking. "May I come in?" She was surprised by the confidence in her voice.

Hawkwing stalked out of his sister's den with the rabbit in his jaws. Glancing at Rose for the first time he realized who she was, the loner on the beach. His nostrils flared a bit as he glared at her. Though when he heard Briarstar he stalked away.

Briarstar heard Rose call and invited her in, "Yes, please come in." She told the loner as she settled herself down, tucking her paws under her white, fluffy pelt.

Brackenheart dipped her head with a returning purr, "thanks!" She was soon surrounded by her two siblings, Darkfur and Blazeclaw, Redstorm nowhere to be seen.

Rose stepped in with Nightpaw, She sat down across the leader who now that she had gotten a closer look at seemed way taller than her by comparison.

Nightpaw sat down next to Rose. His pelt was barely visible in the dark den. Only his deep blue eyes gave away he was there.

Koitail slid away. She suddenly felt tired, from todays stress. She'd eat first, though. Hunger had been gnawing at her stomach for a while. The she-cat headed over to the fresh-kill pile.

Briarstar looked over at her guest, "I'm sorry we couldn't meet under better circumstances, but I'm Briarstar, Leader of Tigerclan." She said introducing herself.


Hawkwing drug the rabbit back over to where he had been earlier. Chewing on the meat he glanced around at the slowing camp, it was late and most cats were going to sleep.

"That's alright, I didn't want to leave the shecat Windstream to die at the paws of those mongrels." Rose bowed her head in respect then added, "You probably know my name by now, it's Rose."

Briarstar nodded, "All of Tigerclan thanks you." She said repeating herself from eariler, "Though I would be interested to know what you were doing on Tigerclan territory." Now her tone wasn't as friendly though it wasn't threatening either."
