Kohana
As Kohana lead Ryuu the bushes, she felt the air between the two crackle with impending excitement. Finally, as she pushed her way through, she was met by a cool breeze that tugged at her fur. The wind tickled her sneezed, bringing her a quick pawstep back. As she opened her eyes once more, they grew wide with awe. She was standing at the edge of a cliff, the forest dark and deep below. It was about a one-hundred foot drop; one that would send you tumbling down the steep slope ad into whatever dangers were hidden below.
A warm pelt brushed Kohana's and she looked to her side to see Ryuu standing next to her, the same expression of obvious awe upon his face. The two briefly exchanged glanes, before looking back down the cliff. "Wow, this place looks awesome!" Ryuu exclaimed, his yellow orbs a'twinkle with undisguised excitement. Kohana shared another look with her brother and nodded. "Yeah, it does." she agreed, peering over the cliff curiously.

Crash
Crash could hear little pawsteps pattering behind her and she threw a glance behind her to see Fall following her. A brief flicker of uncertainty shot through Crash and she halted, narrowing her orbs. Should Fall really be accompanying her on this expedition? What if they find something awful, one that could traumatize her little Fall? She looked into Fall's chocolate orbs to find determination written on them, and she smiled. That's my girl. she thought, twisting her head back 'round and trotting off again.
Crash's gaze was fixed on the road ahad as she stalked through the forest, but ever so often she would loo behnd her to make sure Fall was keeping up. As the two distanced themselves from the camp, the weather gradually was growing harsher. Snow was now glittering down from the sky, littering the two's pelts, and wind buffeted Crash's face. She squinted against the apending storm and pushed on, a hard look on her face. Seems like a blizzard is brewing. she decided, throwinga nervous glance behind her. She knew bringing Fall was a bad idea; what if she caught a cold, or worse? What if she got lost in the storm?
Crash shook her head and fixed her gaze ahead and she dragged on, lifting her head to sniff the air. Her heart dropped like a stone when se realized that all she could smell was frost. There was only one explaintion; Kohana and Ryuu's scents were blown off by the storm. "Just perfect." Crash hissed through her teeth, wincing as the storm bit at her face. She glanced behind her and wrapped her tail around Fall, protecting her from the blizzard.

Fall wiggled free and had her nose in the dirt. She could still smell the faint scent of her two lost siblings.

Crash
Crash growled as she felt Fall wriggle free from her grasp and looked down, growling. "Fall," she growled. "If you're going to be her with me, than you have to stay wa-" Crash was suddenly cut off as she twisted her head around to face her daugther. She paused, watching as Fall buried her nose deep within the snow, eyes squeezed shut in determination. The old snow was pushed up as Fall pushed herself in deeper, sniffing audibly. "Now, what have you got there?" Crash murmured, turning herself around and gazing down at her daughter. She took in a deep breath and buried her own nose within the snow, inhaling deeply.
Crash's tail instantly shot up and began to wag. It was Kohana and Ryuu's scents! True, they were faint, but they were inmistakable. "Fall!" she yelped, licking her daughter's head with excitement. She lifted her head and gazed down at her daughter. "Good job, Fall. I'm so proud of you."
After a heartbeat or two, Crash turned back 'round and began to paw away the snow in front of her, shiedling the hold from the falling frost. Once she ht dirt, she bent down and sniffed in, almost yelping with excitement. Their scents were here too! They were hot on their trails! Hang on, I'm coming. Crash thought, plunging into the woodland beyond.

Fall followed happily. She had made her mother proud and that made her really happy.

Ryuu looks down from the cliff down to the dark forest "what do you think is down there" looks over at her curous at what she thought than shivers abit moving closer towards his sister because of the cold wind

Kohana peered over the edge of the cliff, her leaf-green orbs wide with curiousity. "What do you think is down there?" Ryuu asked beside her, peering over the edge as well. Kohana's ears pricked at his question and she shrugged absentely, shifting from paw to paw as she crouched. The snow crunched underpaw and pushed slightly up as she moved, pressing against her neck as she stretched it.
"I'm not sure." Kohana murmured to her brother, flicking an ear as a flurry of snow fell atop it. She arose to her paws and narrowed her orbs in curiousity. She tried to stretch herself out more to get a better view, but she felt her paws beginning to slip. Her ears suddenly strained as they percieved the sound of groaning, and she felt the ground beginning to move underpaw. Kohana exchanged a worried glance with her brother and looked down at the ground. It began to crumble underpaw as more cnow began to pile atop it.
"The ground's giving way!" she shrieked, momentarily too stunned to move. After a heartbeat, she snapped out of her trance and turned on her heels, trying to scramble to safety. However, it was too late; the ground gave a bellowing roar as it crumpled beneath the two pups and sen tthem plummeting down to the ground below. Kohana squeezed her eyes shut and prayed silently for a quick, painless death...
Suddenly, Kohana could hear a growl of determination and her eyes flew open, her head snapping up. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a large black shape blurring towards the two pups and she gasped in surprise. Evan! she thought as the Alpha grabbed the two pups by the scruff and flung them to the safety of sturdy ground. Kohana felt the breath being knocked out of her as she felt Ryuu topple atop her and her eyes shut in an attempt to catch her breath. As soon as she did, she scrambled to the edge of the cliff and watched as her Alpha plummeted hopelessly down into the dark forest below.

Ryuu moves over watching with her with wide eyes tears running down his cheeks "kohana we need to go evan" looks at her with hope showing in his yellow eyes than he looks for a way to get down safely
