He was relieved to hear that Bluetail wasn't too beat up. "We can probably slip into the medicine cat's den and take some poppy seeds. I never see the medicine cats around anymore, so I can't imagine they'd be of much assistance." He grumbled. It was true- they were hardly ever around when they were needed, so they were basically useless. Many times did Darkpelt have to go to the Medicine Cat's den on his own and patch himself up. He often didn't have the patience or

"Maybe you didn't need medicine to make you better, but a lover's soft touch instead." Came Bluetail's soft, gentle voice beside him, interrupting his thoughts. He smiled gratefully towards her, his whiskers twitching. He licked her cheek once more and rose uneasily to his paws, his joints clicking into place. "Well whatever it was, it worked. Come on, I need to get out of this stuffy den. It's almost sunrise." He meowed over his shoulder to her before he slipped out.
