Hawksky nodded. "I know how being distracted feels..." he mumbled. "Hey, do tyou want me to get Nightsplash?" he asked, flicking his tail toward the den's enterance.

Sandstar repeated her question. "Who is the fastest cat?" she cried.

Flickerheart nodded and headed quickly over to Waterpaw. She ordered "Go get your mentor! He's coming along!" Mosspelt nodded and raced inside the medicine cat den, yelling "Coldmoon! We need you! Know!"

"What's with all of the commotion?" Coldmoon grumbled. She gazed over at Forestlight, saying nothing. She silently grabbed her scruff and dragged her to the medicine den. She laid her down in a warm nest and grabbed a politice of goldenrod. It was fortunate she had already chewed it, because mow, she would have no time. She rubbed it on her wounds, to prevent infection. She then wrapped some cobwebs around her wounds. They were deep, but not severe. She would have to watch her and make sure they didn't get infected. She started to lick off of the blood around her face.

Waterpaw turned to face Sandstar. "I'm pretty fast, but I'm not sure about the fastest."

Sandstar nodded. "You'll be fine. I want you to go to Duskclan and warn them about the fox. Be careful. I want you clear out of the fox's path and I unfortunately can't spare any warriors to go with you." Sandstar nodded. "If you can, try to persuade them to send a few warriors over, if they are willing to help."

Waterpaw bowed her head. "But what about Fallclan?"

Hawksky returned with Nightsplash.
