Tiger nodded and began to circle Stormpaw, "make the first move," he agreed and continued to trudge around in the snow

Stormpaw darted forward, leaning towards his left side, in a split second she dodged right and lashed out a soft paw, aiming to unbalance him by knocking his right hind leg. Her tail flicked to her right keeping away from Tiger but still out for balance.

Tiger then swung for Stormpaw's legs and growled, 'whacking' her neck with his free forepaw and rearing up on his back legs in preparation

Flinching slightly Stormpaw spun around, she swung her forepaws at his now unprotected belly and swiped them across. She flicked her tail and quickly wrapped it around his hind leg.

Tiger continued on his back paws and then broke away from the position as he bit down on Stormpaw's tail, shielding his neck as he did so

Stormpaw let out a yelp and reared onto her forepaws, and kicking strongly back at Tigers chest. Her eyes flickered nervously as she spun around and lashed a paw out to hit the tom on the head

Tiger fell back with an oof as the she-cats back legs hit him and let out a moan of pain, as he fell he just about dodged the fellow apprentice's lashed out paw

Stormpaw took the opportunity to leap and try to pin him down, her teeth aiming for the back of his neck, though she would never actually hurt him.
