Night stood up and padded to Nikie. "When are going to get moving?"
"When the water lowers a bit, then we'll leave." Nikie replied. "Which, is going to take a while with all this rain."
Night nodded and padded to Akira and told her what Nikie said.

Bird curled up against his chest.

Alkus licked her forehead.

Crow layed his head over her, trying to keep her warm. He sighed.

Marrow licked the one that was still as Watermint nudged the one that squeaked.

Hawk sighed happily. "You okay?"

Night sighed peacefully.

Alkus tilted his and bounded off. He returned with a skinny rabbit. He nudged it toward her.

"Oh sorry." Bird said. "Coool!!" she squeaked quietly.

Nifty shuddered between tears. "I thought I lost you."

Star pushed it away. "Not hungry."

Crystal walked up to him " great catch!"
