"...Unless you were to join us." replied Miststep reluctantly. "Then our land would be your land. But--" she added quickly. "It would be more than that. If you were to join SunClan, you would have to live by our code. Feed the clan before yourself. And, if it comes to it, give your life to protect the clan." She watched him carefully as she spoke, not expecting a rogue, used to putting himself first, to be too keen on the prospect.

The young tabby tom lifted his head, halting in place. He too had caught the scent, unfamiliar and fresh. Cedarpaw glanced over at Fawnpaw, noticing she too was standing with her jaws parted to take in the smells. "Should we stay here?" he meowed cautiously, ears twitching with indecision. He thought it might be best to let it alone, whomever it was, but he knew that it was part of the code to defend the borders. But maybe another SunClan cat was dealing with it? He shook his head slighly.

Pistachio looked at her, not too sure he should trust her. What if they sent her out to attack him? To make sure he left the territory, which he hadn't yet. That was okay because he didn't know what to Do with his life anymore. Sure, she was a she cat and he was alittle bit larger, but he knew nothing about fighting if it came to that? Why did he ever listen to Wolfpaw, and come into this forest. He was being paranoid and that needed to stop, if he wanted to live. " Okay fine help me."

Sorreldash flicked an ear, and the tip of her tail in amusement.
"Yes, we can train now. After we're done training, we'll see if any patrols need to be done, then you'll be free for the rest of the day afterwards, until dusk patrols."
The small warrior gave a brisk nod, before adding, "We'll be training in the forest, instead of the usual training spot for apprentices." She stood up, slowly but swiftly turning around, before beginning to pad away.

Deer wasn't surprised yet something about it stirred in his memory like a forgotten thought, something awoke inside of him, the longing he had felt his entire life, the feeling that he had tried to forget, his mother had told him to forget it

"we should at least see if anyones doing anything about it"
she said wondering what she would do if she saw a loner for the first time

She padded to the woods slipping into the dark of the trees. She wanted to eat but knew she had to feed the clan first. Skyheart looked around seeing nothing. She quietly laid down and closed her eyes. No cat would notice she was gone so she decided to sleep.

Miststep nodded at his lack of reply, taking it as a no. She hadn't really expected him to be interested. "You should come with me." she said. "I'll take you to Eaglestar. We'll see how much territory we can afford to give you." She half-turned away, not wanting to turn completely her back on the rogue.
