The queen quickly trotted back to the nursery, her hunger forgotten, where she curled around the sleeping Mink-kit and kept a metaphorical eye on Daisykit while he played with Thrushleap. Cloudgaze was the type to worry over even the smallest of things and something as ominous as this would likely have her on edge for a while.

Sparrow heard rustling behind her and bolted up the nearest tree, her hackles raised in alarm. She could smell the scents of multiple cats, coming from the direction that the wind was flowing from.

goldenstripe trotted into the nursery, her belly barely popping. she was pregnant with a rouge's litter- but no one could know that.

spottedleap walked after stonestar. "maybe it's that a cat here is hiding grief- then is swayed by a dark forest warrior. we can't know if any cat is training with the dark forest."

berrystump had just returned from hunting, dropping two sparrows onto the pile.
