"she can't have any milk until she's had a bit of medicine... -she could give your kits whitecough, or even you. it could give the others queens and their kits whitecough and worms, so we best not. thank you for the offer." i blurted out, sweetly and calmly. looking after honey felt like being a queen, so you can see why queens can be so protective.

I don't think that's true-if a kit has whitecough, the queen doesn't stop feeding them...and as for worms, they're inside the body, so I think it would be really hard.)
