Breezefrost came back into the den and sat down watching the kit. "Shouldn't you be getting some rest? " she asked Dappleleaf.

Lionkit coughed a little in his sleep it but didn't wake him up

Dappleleaf sighed. "I should but I'm not sleeping until Moonfur is awake to look after Lionkit. She had some med-cat training when her mentor died in case we couldn't find her another mentor."

Moonfur dreamed of Lionkit becoming the most marvellous med-cat ever known to this clan. Wait, med cat? She didn't think much of it.

Breezefrost nodded watching the queen and the kit sleep. "Well at least he looks peaceful. Is he not very sick anymore? "

Dappleleaf looked at her yet to become apprentice. "He's still ill but he's making a quick recovery. I think he should be out of here within the next two or three days."

Breezefrost looked at Dappleleaf. "That's good. I felt bad for him when i found him. He was out in the forest alone... how could some cat abandon such a tiny kit?" She looked back at Lionkit.

Dappleleaf shrugged. "Maybe his mother died? I don't think anyone, not even Scourge, would have the heart to leave him at that age," she mewed.

arch nodded. "its very well forested." he purred "the camp is lovely" he added. he was a little nervous, but he was sure he would get over it.

Breezefrost shrugged. "Maybe... it's still so sad. Poor kit..." she yawned slightly. "I'm glad i found him. He could be dead right now if i didnt bring him here and with you healing him.. and Tigerear and Hawkstripe adopting the poor kit. Do you think the clan will accept him when he is older? Even if he wasnt clan born."

"Definitely! Our Clan lets in loners and kittypets of all backgrounds! I reckon he'll have nothing to worry about." Dappleleaf yawned.

Shadestar smiled. "Glad you like it. Well, feel free to stay in the warriors den tonight. It's gonna get cold," he smiled.
