Copperberry's ears stood erect. "Foxcloud!" She ran towards the sound of her Clanmate's voice before finally spotting the flecked ginger she-cat. "There you are! Come on, we need to get back to camp!" She stuck close to Foxcloud's side for warmth as she began to lead the way home.

Beechpaw heaved a sigh of relief as she made it to the same branch. "I thought you were a goner there! Be more careful, okay?"

Herringpaw nodded, still shaken. He began to climb higher so he was farther away from the water.

(So we're just gonna say that Saltpaw got washed out to sea or something, yeah? And ye, Spar, I'm cool with Maple and Ripple just scenting Tidestar and Fox as they're going back to camp.)

Salmonfall watched in horror as the water began to rise higher and higher. "Cornfur! We need to go back!" She wailed fearfully.

Cornfur stood frozen for a moment, staring out at the waves. It would be only moments until the water would begin to lap at his paws. "But Saltpaw..." He muttered before quickly looking at Salmonfall. "You're right, we need to get back." He said, and he started to bound back towards camp.

"Snowfoot!" Spiderheart ran over to the gray tabby. "What are you doing out here? A hurricane's on its way; you should be in the den."

Beechpaw clawed her way after him. "This is fun, isn't it?" she asked, having already dismissed Herringpaw's potential near-death experience.

"I think they went this way," Ripplestripe thought out loud as he followed the scents of Tidestar and Foxtalon. His wet pelt combined with the cold wind made him rather uncomfortable, but he did his best to ignore this discomfort and instead focus on finding his Clanmates. He looked over his shoulder to make sure Mapleshadow was close behind.

Salmonfall followed beside Cornfur, occasionally brushing up against him to move out of the way of a fallen log or roots of a tree. "We'll look for her later, okay?" Salmonfall promised, licking his cheek comfortingly. He cares so much about her... he couldn't possibly like her? No, no, its probably just because they were apprentice and mentor... right?

Herringpaw shrugged, "Yeah, all except for the part where I almost died."
