Mintsplash pricked her ears as she heard the soft footsteps of a cat. She opened her mouth to taste the air, hoping that it was a clanmate, not a rogue or kittypet. To her relief, it was just the familiar scent of Robinchaser, apparently heading in her direction. "Hi Robinchaser!" the she-cat chirps. She paces around the stream, hoping to find a fish to catch. 'It doesn't look like the fish are coming today, Mintsplash.' she told herself sadly. Just then, as if her wish was answered to, a silver gleam catches her eye, making a small "splish" in the water. Mintsplash quickly crouched over the river, tail high, and her paw slowly creeping up just above the small fish. Just the moment that the fish paused to take in some air, Mintsplash whispered "Now!" and slid her paw into the stream, and was delighted to find the fish flopping around on the soft grass. She purred in triumph and quickly ended the small creature's life with a killing bite.
"Eww." Mintsplash muttered as she stared at her muddy paws. She soaked her paws into the gentle stream to clean them. The she-cat stared at the sky-it was a great day, and she was starting to feel a little worn out. Mintsplash decided that it wouldn't do much harm if she took a little swim, so she slipped into the stream and sat there for a moment, feeling the current of the stream lapping at her fur. Her tail flicked when she felt something slippery against it, and dove underwater to see a school of the little silver fish. 'Score!' She thought to herself. 'This could feed the whole clan for a day or so!'. She rose to the surface to take in a lung-full of air before plunging into the water to try and catch as many fish as possible.
