Murderers in Riverclan V.2 [Roster Update 10/30]

The killer's companion limped into the medicine cat
den. They'd been quiet for two moons now, and the
Clan had settled back into an uneasy routine.
The cat in question had cut their paw while
hunting, and had been approached by the killer,
eyes shining, as they explained their plan.
They'd agreed, and now it was time.

Breezefire looked up from where she'd been
mixing a poultice, a gaze filled with worry.
'Are you alright?' she asked, concerned.
They shook their head. 'I was out hunting, and I
caught my paw on a rock.'
The herb dust on Breezefire's fur went up their
nose and they sneezed, feathers, wisps of fur
and leaves going everywhere.

Apologetically, Breezefire began cleaning up
their paw, and while they did, Silverfeather
entered. 'Hey, Breezefire, are you busy?'
The medicine cat could only nod impatiently,
and Silverfeather told her that she'd saved some
food for when Breezefire was finished.

Another cat entered the den, although
Silverfeather didn't pay attention to who they were.

Breezefire never left the medicine den.

At the end of the day, when Spiderpaw was relaxing
in the sun, Silverfeather went into the den and
let out a screech of fear.
Breezefire's mangled body lay in the center of the
den, the killer nowhere to be seen.
Silverfeather ran, ignoring the cry of Spiderpaw,
but slipped near the river, smashing her head against
a rock and falling in
Your last pair is gone! Spiderpaw has been named
Spiderleaf in light of his mentor dying.

Emberheart was devastated. For a long time the clan was in mourning, and it felt as though it would never end. She felt that each moon a new cat died, and her fear was rising. What if she was next?

The she cat made her way through the clan entrance, a fish in her jaws. She trotted over to the fresh-kill pile and placed it down. Making her way to the medicine cat den, she spotted Spiderleaf awake.
"Spiderpa-" She quickly corrected herself "Spiderleaf, how are you?"

Snowberry sat in the clearing, a pained expression on her face. She just wanted her Clan to be safe. How could this happen? Why would anyone want to do something like this? She couldn't think of anything that'd drive her to do such a horrible thing, and she knew that understanding it was the first step to stopping it. I don't think we're any closer than we were at the start...

pumpkinmask crouched in camp, near the entrance.
she blinked slowly, finding it hard to stay awake.
lately she'd been so tired, staying up at night worrying
about the clan. it was completely possible she slept
in the same den as this murderer, and that frightened her.
it was possible that this murderer was some cat everyone
trusted, or one that no one would expect.
what would they do?
