Waru gazed down at the kit and said, "Speak." Waru was giving Zuki a chance to defend herself, fore, even the smallest of kits has an explanation for their actions.

Zuki growled at Cyril then turned her attention back to Waru. She sat proudly and answered, "I like any other cat in this tribe, no matter how young, have a right to know about their tribe and to try every way they can to protect it. I wanted to go to this meeting to learn more but when I asked Cyril if she would take me, she called me a kit and told me to stay. I had no choice. I climbed up a tree and watched the meeting from afar, and once the meeting was over I got down and came back with Cyril and Night. The two attacked me with scornful words, calling me a kit and saying I had no right nor the place to be there. Then Cyril started threatening that I would be in trouble just for leaving camp un-attended. I knew these risks but I wanted to know more so I took a risk and I am glad I did. I also spoke rude to this.... hunter and defender... because they had spoken and acted rudely towards me."

Waru raised an eyebrow and mewed, "This sounds wise coming from one so young. But even though you took a risk that you sweeten over with your words, it does not hide the fact that you left camp without telling anyone. For the next 3 days you will remain in camp." Waru then looked to Cyril and added, "3 Days so that she missed going to the border with the patrol over to Solar Tribe.

Zuki bowed her head to Waru and left without another word.

No sooner had the leader said her last words when Nightmare left the den, and camp. How dare that little kit call him Night! His name was Nightmare not night. He growled to himself, and moving swift as a stream and silent as a whisper he stalked off to do his job and defend the border. From what, who knows?

Cyril nodded to Waru, and left as she was dismissed, but still unsatisfied with Zuki's punishment. She caught sight of Nightmare leaving, and bounded to catch up with him. "Hey, wait!" She purred, flicking at his ear with her tail, "Are were just going to leave me with Waru and the kit for company?" She joked, though anger and embarrassment flashed through her blue eye for a moment as she remembered the scene the kitten had caused.

Kari looked around at the floating white mess and then jumped as she caught sight of Chemical walking into the den. Her eyes widened and ears went down, just as before only this time from shame. "Im so sorry!" she said to Chemical, "I'll clean it up right away!"

"Felis would be okay with us," he said, "I promise."
