Cloudgaze sighed while sweeping her fluffy tail around both herself and the kit. "I will make sure she knows that it was you who found her, and you are her father now. I will not tell her that I am her mother and I will correct her if you like but I will not force any ideas into or out of her mind."

"I don't expect you to." One-eye, not having anything to attend to, laid down at the entrance of the nursery and folded his paws under his chest. "Don't say anything. I don't have anything to do right now."

"Good." Cloudgaze murmured before uncurling her tail to start grooming the little kit. She could never bring herself to forcibly try and pressure any idea onto a kit. The queen gently licked away any blood that was still on the kit while thinking. She should ask for a name. But not now, it could wait for a while. (until the kit's rper gets back on?)

Rabbitfur looked at the tom, his ears working at the sound of his purr. It was ... different. Not a bad different. Just something Rabbitfur hadn't really heard before. It was nice. His whiskers twitched, glad he'd made the tom happy, and he wasn't feeling too bad himself now. He watched how the tom was walking and he stifled a gentle chuff, not wanting to be rude.

Wildflight was more than happy to be able to break away from his 'professional' act. To have to worry about putting on an air of leadership and responsibility during all hours of the day was quite tiresome. He could only hope that Rabbitfur wouldn't lose the respect for him that he only just spoke about. The tom mearly wanted to let loose just a bit. As they started to approach what would be their final border marker though, Wildflight regained his usual gait and ceased his purring as he went back into the deputy mindset. "If we don't find anything here we can go back to camp." He announced with a glance towards Rabbitfur to see if he would have any objections.
