I padded back and fourth in the middle of camp. I watched the cats go into their patrols. I noticed Sandpelt was picked to lead one. Good luck on your first time leading a patrol! I thought.

"Well?" I asked, though I didn't wait for an answer. I flicked my tail and our patrol headed out.
