Bramblepaw? My heart aches a little. We're good friends, I just don't think that he feels the way I feel about him. And if I tell him my feelings, everything would be awkward and we'll be less then friends. His hazel eyes and personality, just make him such a great cat. I can't help these feelings, I have to lock them away and focus on becoming a warrior. Yet I don't want to make Bramblepaw feel as if I hate him. I nod to Owlstar.

The tom twitched his whiskers. "Good catch!" The tom brushed his tail along Spottedtail's flank. His mind searched for the right words to say. After a few moments he, opened his mouth, but closed it. What was he supposed to say? His tail lingered on her for a few more seconds before the tom padded over to his kill, and buried it. "Shall we continue?"

(I did a time-skip for the badger attack, but yeah, it's probably a good idea to beware of the badger.)

"Oh, yes. A few sunrises ago, Larkpaw and I encountered an angry badger. Though we're pretty sure we drove him away from our territory, just be careful," she warned. "Honeypaw, would you like to go see if Bramblepaw is free?"

The she-cat lifted her head painfully from where she laid. "Larkpaw?" the she-cat called. The white warrior heaved herself to her paws, before collapsing in exhaustion.

Bramblepaw's ears twitched when he heard his name, and he immediately got to his paws, walking a little closer to the other cats so he could hear better. His hazel eyes landed briefly on Owlstar, then shifted to Larkpaw, and eventually to Honeypaw as well. His tail-tip began to twitch anxiously. A badger....?? "You said something about me, Owlstar...?"

Blinking as an unfamiliar scent hit his nose, Graywhisker's ears perked up. His aquamarine gaze landed on Sky almost immediately, and he narrowed his eyes slightly. He was a little suspicious, but Owlstar didn't seem to mind, so he remained silent.

She blinked, opening her eyes to glance over at Sparrowpatch. She then offered him a small smile. "Thank you. It was a bit tricky, but I managed to catch it..." She mewed as she began to bury the squirrel, giving a small nod in reply. "We shall."

I try not to stumble over my words. After giving her a small nod, I meow,"I'll see." I turn around and pad toward Bramblepaw. Obviously, I'm nervous. Then again, Bramblepaw could describe our territory more then I ever could. I open my mouth and meow. "Owlstar wants to know if you want to come with me and show Sky our territory." Phew, I made it! But if I keep this going, things will get real awkward. My inner voice tells me that I worry too much. Maybe I do.

The dark apprentice blinked, watching Honeypaw for a moment before looking back to Owlstar. He then gave a small nod, even though patrolling the territory at that moment was the thing he least wanted to do, now that he had heard a badger had been around. He just hoped it was gone for good... But either way, Sky needed to know the territory.... So he would go to help out a friend.
"Of course, Owlstar." He gave a dip of his head to his leader after nodding.
