Herringpaw followed, shaking raindrops from his pelt every so often. Suddenly, Herringpaw leapt onto another branch, although, it wasn't strong enough to hold the bulky tom's weight and it snapped. The tom flailed in midair, searching for a grip as the branch that he broke fell away to the ground.

Beechpaw whirled around when she heard the crack of a branch behind her, and gasped at the sight of Herringpaw falling to the ground. "Herringpaw!" She half-slid, half-scrambled down the tree in an attempt to catch up to her friend.

"Foxcloud?" Copperberry poked her head out of the warriors' den to scan the camp for Foxcloud, but the freckled she-cat was no where in sight. "That mouse-brain...Doesn't she know she should stay in the den when the weather's like this?" With an annoyed sigh, Copperberry padded out to search for her Clanmate. "Foxcloud!" she called.

Foxcloud shivered, blinded by the rain. Her ears pricked and swiveled - was that a voice? Yes!
"Copperberry!" She exclaimed. "O-over here!"

Herringpaw's paws [haha that sounds weird] flailed before catching onto a low branch. He continued to claw his way onto it, just tail lengths away from the rushing water. Once he was safely sitting on the branch, he let out several deep breaths, his heart still pounding in his chest.
