Dapplenose picked up both kits (lul Spirit went offline). "Settle down, I'm going to tell you a story."

"Tell us!" Sandkit said.

Sandkit sat down with his sister.

"There was once two brave cats named Fireheart and Greystripe. They saved Reedwhisker and gave Primerosepaw a few more moons of life when they were just kits." Dapplenose began.

(Lol I'm terrible at elder stories. I don't know le history of le clan or something, but in le next elder story I'll tell them about Tigerclan)

Pouncetail smiled at the kits as Dapplenose told them a story. He remembered when he had been a kit, his favourite thing was coming to the elders den and listening to some of their stories.

"The water was flooding, then Greystripe and Fireheart jumped in to save them. They didn't know how to swim, but they fought hard and kept the kits from drowning. Mistystar, who had been Mistyfoot back then, saw them and asked why they were on Riverclan's territory. Fireheart and Greystripe were out of the water, and said that the kits were drowning and asked what she expected them to do. Now Reedwhisker is our deputy, and Primrosepaw got the chance to be an apprentice before dying." Dapplenose finished.

"Yay for Fireheart and Greystripe!" Sandkit said.

Silverkit stared up at Dapplenose, "wow..." she whispered, I'm going to be a hero like them, too!
