Lostface trailed behind One-eye to return to camp as well. She had no other reason to stay out in the forest right now and, plus, she didn't like being out alone.

One-eye padded into camp, immediately padding to the nursery.

Cloudgaze's attention was drawn away from Leopardstripe when someone new entered the nusery. She recognized the cat as One-eye, which wasn't too much of a surprise considering how much time he spent around the kits, but it was what he was carrying that drew her interest. It was another cat scent, kit definitely, but not one she knew. "One-eye," She meowed, "Why do you have a kit?"

(they could both feed her really. queens are kinda supposed to group raise kittens anyway)

One-eye sat down. "I found her. She was abandoned and she hurt her paw," he meowed. The stench of blood came off her paw in waves.

Cloudgaze flinched as the blood scent hit her. She absolutely hated that smell but lately she had been around it a lot. "Give her to me." She quickly said while reaching for the kit, "And see if you can find Spottedleap or Silverpaw to come look at her." The queen had no idea this tom wanted to keep this kit as his own.

"Yeah.. just know, you can feed her, but she's my kit now," One-eye meowed, giving her the she-kit reluctantly.

Cloudgaze pulled the kit to her belly while frowning. "One-eye, you have warrior duties to attend to. You can visit, and she can be your kit but you mustn't forget your duties." The queen said, speaking sternly as if he were a kit she was giving a lesson to. She was worried he would try to do as Leopardstripe had done and virtually turn into a queen to stay with this kit. Something she had never approved of before but didn't complain about because she didn't want to risk a fight.

"I'm aware of that, Cloudgaze. But I don't want her thinking of you as a parent~ I'm sorry, but I don't," One-eye meowed, frowning.
