"I like spending time with you, Bluepaw." He turned his head abd gave her a warm smile. "Alrighty Bluepaw, let's see what you can do." He flicked his tail forward to tell her to lead the way.

Bluepaw nodded at him after smiling to him and lead the way. "I'm not too good at hunting." she said truthfully, jumping through a bush.

"It's okay, try to get a mouse!" He smiled "Here watch me." He crouched so that his belly fur was against the forest floor and his tail close to the ground too, he listened closely and he heard a mouse under some leaves up ahead. After a brief moment of silence, he jumped up before he landed on it and he bit down on it. He lifted the limp mouse in him mouth.

Bluepaw smiled and watched him, seeming intrigued. "O-Okay, I've got it!" she said, listening for a mouse.

"Ah..." Vipereye frowned as Puddlestar bounded up to him. Graniteslip certainly wasn't his name, and the leader should have known that. Vipereye didn't look anything similar to the tom he was being mistaken for, and was in fact quite a bit smaller than him even on top of that. "Puddlestar? I'm.. not Graniteslip." He noted quietly after a few seconds of awkward silence.

Leopardheart nodded and crouched beside her, he used his tail and gently pushed her back down slightly "keep close to the ground" he whispered then moves his tail to hers and lightly pushed it to the ground as well "and keep your tail down, it's like a rabbit at a gathering, it stands out too much." Though he wasn't her mentor he wanted to help her hunting skills.

The soon to be warrior nodded as she watched him and listened, staying low. Hwr ears flattened as she krept forwards, leaping into a pile of leaves, making them fly everywhere as she caught the mouse. She looked over with the mouse in her jaws and smiled.

"Great job, Bluepaw!" He smiled brightly, "Do you want to head back and drop off our kills and possibility get a training session started?"

Puddlestar squinted. "Don't be silly, were you hit in the head? Of course you are. We grew up together, I don't think I would be able to mistake you for even one of your siblings." He tilted his head as dark markings swam across 'Graniteslip's' pelt. Blinking in confusion, Puddlestar scrunches up his muzzle. "Vipereye? Hello! Graniteslip was just here, did you see where he went?" His eyes seemed distant. With a swish of his tail, the tom began poking his muzzle into a nearby bush. Pausing, the tom sneezed, then shook his head. "I can't smell him anywhere.." Dismay filed his eyes. "Why would he suddenly leave without saying anything?"

Concern flickered over Vipereye's features for a heartbeat before it was schooled back into a more neutral expression, though there was still a hint of worry in his eyes. "Puddlestar, Graniteslip died, remember?" He answered softly. "He was never here to begin with. Maybe... you should lay down for a while? You seem a bit out of sorts."
