Reedstar returned, silently making her way to her nest to sleep. Tomorrow the warriors would go on patrol, try and fine Oakfeather. Felicity needed to be brought back to camp, she and Dapplekit could be made apprentices, some apprentices could be made warriors soon. Goodness knows the den was already bursting at the seems.

Blossompaw's entire being drooped, and her ears lay flat against her head. But as soon as Pigeonbite finished speaking, a tiny fire seemed to light in her. "You're not a kit. I'm trying to show you that I care about you but you completely ignore everything I say! It's different for nothing to work than to not want to be saved. Blossompaw took a deep breath after her little speech, raising her tail and turning to walk away.
