Mottledstone sighed. "That tom has a lot of issues you don't know about." She said, her whiskers twitching. "And a lot of secrets... big secrets." Her brown, mottled fur rippled against a wind. "Then again, he is a tom." She said, shrugging, Her shining irises rested on Sandcloud's gaze.

She twitched her tail, thinking of something to lighten the mood, "Softwillow told me that from the progress my belly has been changing at, that I'll have four or more kits."

"That's good." Mottledstone replied, smiling. "Let's hope all goes well, then."

[MoshiMoshi~]

"It won't go well if Foxtuft neglects the kits..." She muttered darkly.

[majora.]

"Oh, he won't. He knows too much of father-son relationships." Mottledstone snorted, narrowing her eyes. When will Foxtuft reveal who his father really is? She thought, confused. "Ah, well." She said to herself out loud.

She looked at her belly, "At least I don't have to stay in the nursery yet."

"You will pretty soon with a belly like that." Mottledstone commented, her eyes flashing. She was the most experienced queen in the clan, though most of her kits died on the journey to the sky-rocks.

She smirked, "Then I'll treasure every moment that I'm out of it."

"That's good. You won't regret it." Mottledstone purred, her tail waving. "Most
of the time, even after your kit turns into a warrior- or medicine cat." She
choked, thinking of Softwillow. "You still have to be a full-time mother." She
said, suppressing a sigh. The she-cats brown tortoiseshell pelt ruffled up.
