Speckleddawn blinks and watched her go, sighing. She pads out of the den and out of camp, just to take a stroll. She pads farther and farther out, but makes sure she's still in the territory, when she suddenly smells an odd smell. She looks around, unable to specify the familiar scent. She sees a faint black streak in the distance, and follows it. When She gets closer, she sees Its.. smoke. "Fire!" She gasps, the smoke filling her lungs as the fire grows bigger, engulfing the grass around it. She turns around to run back to camp, but the fire is scattered over the bushes where she emerged from. She coughs, blinking, unable to see or scent her way through. She looks around for any clear opening, and when she sees a small parting in nearby pushes, she shoves herself through them. "Fire!" She yowls, running in the direction of the camp. "Fire! There's a fire!" She yowls again, tumbling in through the entrance as flames engulf the plants a few fox-lengths behind her.
