Gingerfur limped out of the nursery, Walking with three legs is hard. . She thought and sighed, wishing her and Sandkit were back with the twolegs, living as kittypets once again.

Sandkit didn't smile, not showing his teeth. "Okay!"

Jaystar rested his tail tip on Sandkit's shoulder. "Is everything okay, Sandkit?" Something seemed to be a little different about this kit, but Jaystar couldn't figure it out.

[aether.]

Sandkit paused, glancing past Jaystar. He thought for a moment, then looked back up at Jaystar with thoughtful green eyes. "Well. ." He said, "Well. .my mama, Gingerfur," He looked over at Gingerfur. "She's been really upset lately, she lost a leg from the twolegs and my daddy. I'm missing half my teeth from the other animals the twolegs owned." He paused.

Jaystar nodded, his blue eyes glimmering with understanding. "Thank you for telling me. If you or Gingerfur need any help or support, we'll always be there for you."

(I made a new apprentice, Minnowpaw. Is anyone interested in mentoring her?)

Sandkit nodded, he felt better from telling Jaystar. He knew Jaystar would understand.

Minnowpaw shook her misty blue-grey pelt contentedly and looked around for Grizzlyheart so she could train. She was hoping to do some hunting today.

Grizzlyheart walked away feom Sandkit,and Jaystar.She looked around the camp for Minnowpaw.Once she spotted hher aprentice,she padded up to her,and began to speak."Are you ready to go to the trainging grounds" she asked

Minnowpaw nodded excitedly, her amber eyes flickering like candles in anticipation. "Oh yes! I've never been readier!" She skipped to the camp entrance.
