The molly gave a small nod at her trainee's question "Yes, I think it'll be good for us to focus on your hunting skills today" she spoke and paused, she wasn't entirely sure where they should head today but the thought of the river crossed her mind It wouldn't hurt to make sure those RainClan weaklings know for certain that the territory belongs to us now. Some of them would definitely cross as if the battle yesterday had never happened. She thought bitterly, it was irritatingly common for her to scent RainClan scent inside their territory.
"How would you feel about fishing today? Might as well see if that river we required yesterday was actually worth fighting over" She questioned, she rarely let Lilith have a say in what they trained for but since she felt unsure herself she decided to let her trainee choose.

A soft frown made its way onto his face, he was so used to other cats making the decisions that he felt uncertain whenever the choice was up to him "Um..." He began but trailed off as his eyes went back to his sleeping sibling They have a chance to sleep in for once...should I really take it away from them simply 'cause I don't want to train without them? he thought and a soft sigh escaped his mouth, he didn't want to be a burden to his sibling.

The sudden appearance of the warrior at the camps entrance caused the apprentice to jump back in surprise and their fur fluffed up involuntarily. They shook their head once realizing it was RookFang and they forced their fur to lie flat, their gaze temporarily met the ground as they felt embarrassed for jumping.
Their gaze rose to meet Rookfang's when the tom spoke "I was going out to train, That is what apprentices usually do when they leave the camp y'know" They spoke and a slight smile made its way onto their face. They glanced down at RookFangs wound and decided to change the subject, hopeful that it'd distract the tom and allow them to slip out of camp "How's your wound? You might want to visit the medicine cats if it still hurts"

Lynx dipped her head to Frost and Aquilo. "Good. If you see Rainclan cats, don't engage them if you can help it. You can make the call if there's just one, but be sensible. We can organise a bigger fighting force if need be," she said, looking thoughtfully at Harpy. She didn't pay all that much attention to trainees except in regards to their training, but she knew Harpy was still quite young and unlikely to be a match for a warrior. The apprentice had a good build, now that she took a moment to appraise them; no doubt they'd be a fine soldier in time. And Frost was a good teacher.

Frost was of an age with Lynx and she knew the white and grey she-cat had been close with Viper in their youth. She vaguely wondered what had happened between them. Frost and Lynx had always gotten along... fine, although they were quite different. Lynx felt she could rely on her loyalty, at least, which was something she always found herself doubting in others.

Lynx was turning to walk away, already thinking of other patrols, when Freya bounded up. She nodded in approval when the healer mentioned getting more herbs, pleased that she was on top of her stocks after the day before. "That's all, Frost," she said to the she-cat, a clear dismissal. She fixed her gaze on Freya. "Is there anything else you need? I can ask other patrols to keep an eye out."

Rookfang wasn't so easily swayed from the topic. He doubted Minnowpaw's concern was genuine, given the speed at which they moved from one topic to the next. The smile - no, more of a smirk it seemed to him - on their face didn't do much to convince him either. He quickly began to grow annoyed. "Well, I was just on my way to do that when a certain young cat caught my attention. You know as well as I that you shouldn't be leaving on your own - you train with your mentor, Minnowpaw, and somehow I doubt Ravenfeather would be pleased to hear you tried to ditch her to seek out whatever mischief you apprentices get up to these days. In fact, I think I hear her in the medicine cat's den," he mewed, his annoyance manifesting as smugness in his words. He looked hard at the apprentice. He was in no mood to be challenged, especially as the pain of his injury grew. "Why don't you come with me and let her know how eager you are for training?"

Something in his mind told him he shouldn't be so rude, but his mood was quickly degrading and his patience with it.

He eyed the surrounding grounds and cats at the same moment, his mentor was speaking to him, flicking his ears few times about the toms first small question 'I see he did saw my tiredness, even if I tried to act cool' he wondered to himself with a sight. Frost relaxes at their leader giving the patrol the go ahead, and she nods, head dipping slightly. Murmuring a thanks, she leads her trainee and Aquilo out of camp, fur rippling with relief when they were finally out in the territory.

"Right," she mews, turning to Harpy. "I want you to keep your senses open, especially when we get closer to the border. If you scent any RainClan cat, I want you to let me know." She flickers their ear with her tail. "Aquilo and I will look for the maridgold, we'll remark the border, and then we can do our hunt."

Ravenfeather smiled softly. “Of course, Snowfall.” The she-cat murmured. Hearing Snowfall say he’s sorry for not helping enough hurt her. She knew he was trying his best to help her, and it broke her heart to hear him say such things. At this point, Ravenfeather was willing to try any treatment of Snowfall's if it meant that her sensitivity would lessen just a bit. Velvetpaw woke with a start, her light blue eyes wide in fear. Quickly getting up, she dashed out of the apprentices' den and into camp. Looking around for her mentor, she noticed Applecloud wasn't there. Oh I hope she didn't already head out without me. The molly dashed out of the camp, heading straight for the border in case Applecloud was already there. Unbeknownst to her, the yellow eyes of a fox followed her. Accidentally crossing into the rouges' new territory without realizing it, Velvetpaw called out to her mentor, only for a snarl to echo right behind her. Freezing up, she turned to see the ginger pelt of a young fox looming over her on a tree stump. Velvetpaw knew she wouldn't be able to outrun the fox, let alone quickly scramble up a tree to safety. Letting out a scream, the last thing she saw was the yellowish teeth of the mammal closing on her before it delivered a killing bite.
Velvetpaw looked around, dragging herself to her paws. She was in StarClan now. "No, no, no." Her fur spiked up, scared and horrified. As she looked around in fear, the scent of lavender filled her nose. Turning to see who it was, a familiar pelt glittered in her eyes, small white star-like shapes floating next to the she-cat's fur. Peartuft. The older she-cat smiled at her daughter, coming beside her to guide her through StarClan.

Maple nodded her head to her trainee. I know you're not too well versed in fighting, so I'll take you hunting for a bit but then we will practice fighting. We can't have you getting picked off by a RainClan cat right away." She chuckled, her sharp pearly white canines flashing from under her lip. The calico never wanted to be too harsh on the little guy, but she did want to make sure he wouldn't be almost instantly killed in a battle. Maple would be sure to at least teach him defensive moves and save offensive moves for later.
Twitching her tail for him to follow, she filed out of the camp and towards a familiar spot of hers, one she trained in when she was younger. Passing through the trees, they finally arrived at the spot, having been smoothened out with the many times Maple came here to hunt and fight. The large calico turned back to look at her trainee, her icy blue eyes tracing his small frame. "In this very spot, I used to fight and hunt. Prey is plentiful here and throughout the territory, but I was taken here to clear my mind of the faint noises of camp. Here you shall hunt. I will follow behind to watch you." She murmured softly

Harpy looked up at Frost, their amber eyes wide with excitement. "I could take a RainClan cat down with a single paw. I'll be able to handle them." They joked, a smile forming on their face. The only real battle they participated in was yesterday's when they gained new territory. Other than that, they've only been in a few skirmishes on the border. Splitting away from Frost and Aquilo, they trudged towards the border. As they weaved through the territory, the scent of blood and fox drifted into his nose. Treading slowly towards the scent, they found the seemingly injured body of the RainClan apprentice Velvetpaw, the scent of fox strong now. As quick as they arrived, they shot out of the area to search for Frost and Aquilo. Finally finding them, the cat almost collapsed in exhaustion. "Frost, Aquilo! There's an injured RainClan cat and a fox on the territory." They could feel the tightening of their chest letting up slowly but it was enough to knock them off their paws.

Snowfall's ears fell at the young she-cats response. He knew she was right, but he wouldn't be doing his duties as a medicine cat if he didn't at least try to help her, no matter the outcome. The white tom nodded at her response and turned to his apprentice, giving her a soft purr of approval as she set each herb down in front of him. He watched her for a moment, keeping his out on the way she was moving as she continued to work, his heart falling at the sight of her wobble. The young tom turned back to what he was doing, his mind running a mile a minute as he started putting the herbs together. He took the marigold and stinging nettle and began chewing them into a poultice, his claws working to scrape the cobweb and moss into two separate forms as he did so. He looked toward each of the two felines as he spit the poultice into each bundle, his face stern as he continued to work "my thinking is, this cobweb and moss with keep these herbs in your ears. Both herbs are great for fighting infection and keeping wounds healthy as they heal. The only way this would work, would be if there's some sort of infection that's keeping your ears from getting better.." Snowfall stopped for a second to admire his work, and promptly took a ball of moss to place in her ear. he was careful to go slow, trying to avoid any loud sounds by shoving the bundles into her ears. The medicine cat stood back once he was done and inspected each side thoroughly, making sure each was secured in her ears. He was hoping the herbs would combat infection if that was the problem, and the moss and cobweb would do well to block out some unwanted sound "What do you think?"

Willowberry's eyes lit up as the older tom shot back with that same fiery energy she'd expressed to him. It wasn't very normal to converse will fellow classmates like this, but she knew the recent battle took quite a toll on these cats, even under the surface "Most definitely. If those mouse-brained felines think they can take what's ours without a fight, they've got another thing coming.." The balinese fae looked past the white tome for a moment to focus in on another conversation, one their deputy was having with a fellow warrior. A smile spread across her jaws and she focused back onto her conversation with the passionate tom "what do you say we join in on this patrol? I bet those rogues will be out soon to patrol 'their' new territory." Willowberry rose to her paws with a newfound fire, completely forgetting the fact that she'd been unable to sleep the past couple nights due to this exact thing. She was tired of sitting around in camp, and her paws itched to take out her revenge on those flea-bitten cats. The young warrior called out to their deputy, hoping to get a spot on the patrol that would surely be leaving soon "Lightningcrow, could I accompany Coudfall on the patrol? I'd like to be able to check ou the new borders." The pretty feline looked back at the older tom, hoping he too would want to join the patrol. It would be good to have a couple cats going that would do anything to protect their clan.

Zephyr tilted his head as he watched the group of cats gearing up for a patrol, somewhat surprised that he and his trainee hadn't been asked to go. He knew this was probably for the best though, his trainee needed all the training he could offer if they were to be engaged in another battle soon "Let's get going. We should get started now, before we're inevitable called back to join a fight." The large tom dug a small hole and scraped the remains of his meal into it, his piercing yellow gaze focused on his trainee as he waited for him to do the same. The rogue got to his paws and watched the commotion around camp, his gaze focusing on a young feline as she bounded out of the healers den. He swore he could feel a twinge of pain in his wounds as he watched her go, but he decided it was best to ignore it. He didn't feel like sitting around in the healers den as we waited for another poultice to be added to his scratches. It would be a waste of time at this point. Zephyr gave his head a small shake and made his way over to the entrance of camp, a respectful nod going to Lynx as he made his way past her and into the forest. Once he made it out, he stopped for a second to take in his surroundings, a smile crossing his maw as what he found. It was a beautiful new-leaf morning. The sun was beaming down on them and the wind was picking up just enough to keep them from overheating. He listened for the sounds of the forest, his ears perking up at the sound of birds chirping in the branches above him, and at the quiet scurrying of smaller animals in the foliage below. It put a smile on his face and a hunger in his belly. It was the perfect weather for training.

Salem nodded at her apprentices reply and made her way out of the camp, her gaze settling on the two fan's as she passed by them. The young feline came to a halt and butted into the conversation, a smile crossing her maw as she offered her assistance "we'd be happy to come along with you if you'd like to find some herbs. Maybe we can be of some help." The dark-furred soldier stood there for a moment, hoping the older fae would allow them to come with her. Salem loved looking for herbs, the wonderful scents and beautiful colors of the plants always made her so happy.

He was disappointed that Salem was taking him to collect herbs and not take him to the new part of the territory. He wanted to learn how to catch fish. roe would step up to salem and ferret, next to her mentor freya. " maybe if it is okay with freya, i could go with you guys? Creamflower hears a voice and turns her head to see it was none other than Creekbelly, one of the warriors. Upon hearing her question, she sighs sadly and looks at Tinykit. "It still hurts somewhat." she said honestly. "Losing a kit is worse than losing a parent. They were my greatest accomplishment and to lose all but one? That is definitely something worth feeling hurt about. I still can't believe Tinykit is still alive despite he and his siblings being so young when they got greencough."
