Greysnarl had been up early that morning, hunting out in the forest to try and rid himself of some energy. So far he had caught a couple of mice, and was rather irritated that was all he caught. Even worse, Honeyshade had insisted on joining him that morning, and Greysnarl hadn't been able to shake him off all day. It was like he was his apprentice all over again, with the quiet and infuriatingly calm advice on how to improve his skills. He was good enough, in his opinion, thank you very much. His mood only got worse as he heard an audible gasp from Honeyshade, and he shot towards him only to be greeted with the sight of two loners.

Not waiting a moment to think, he launched himself, claws unsheathed, at the nearest cat - a young bengal she-cat with pretty blue eyes. He didn't hear Honeyshade hissing at him to stop over his own angry hissing.

When Greysnarl had set out hunting that morning, Honeyshade had decided to join him. He reasoned that it was more efficient to hunt in pairs, but all that had happened so far was Greysnarl persistently straying away from him. That had left Honeyshade unable to hunt, simply following him instead. When at last the grey tom had slowed down, Honeyshade took a moment to scent the air, and was rather surprised to notice the scent of unfamiliar cat. He slowly slinked towards the shrubbery, casting his gaze to the outskirts of their territory - and letting out an audible gasp as he noticed two cats he had never seen before.

In a moment, Greysnarl had shot past him and thrown himself at the least prepared looking cat - a bengal who's full attention seemed to have been on a fresh rabbit. Neither cat seemed to intend any harm - they seemed very young as well, couldn't have been much that older than an apprentice. "Greysnarl, stop!" He yelled, rushing down to them. "They aren't doing any harm!"

Pigeonpaw's vibrant green eyes blinked open to great the morning, gazing around the medicine cat's den. It had been two moons since she was appointed medicine cat apprentice, and while she did love the idea of the job, the plague had begun rearing it's ugly head the very same moon she was apprenticed. It was.. well, it was incredibly disheartening - and yet, she found pride in the fact she was able to stand by her mentor's side and really do something to help. She assured herself that each cat's life who slipped between their paws wasn't in vain, and that they had to be getter closer to the cure. They just had to be! At least she was learning to combat it directly.. she was sure, some day, she'd be a medicine cat like Deerleap, and she'd be looked up to for training through a tough time like this..

Speaking of Deerleap, Pigeonpaw noticed she was still asleep - resting well, she hoped. Not wanting to wake her up just yet, she carefully stepped over her and settled down in the medicine day, contemplating what the world would have in store.

"Well, hello there! You two seem familiar," he murmured and inspected them from a few paces away.

Ashpaw saw his mentors look and the glint of disappointment in his eyes, instantly regretting even trying to find him. The apprentice's tail drooped before he let out a huff, his claws digging into the ground before he turned away, feeling hurt by his reaction. Maybe he'd be lucky and be able to go on a patrol or get to train with one of the other apprentices. Glancing around, his eyes landed on the camp entrance, wondering if he could just go out on his own, but knowing better than that, he shook his head to clear it from the thought. He continued to look around, hoping maybe he could do a training session with Dovepaw instead.

"Cass!" Jester yelled out in horror and was quick to move out of the way. She glanced over at the other tom who seemed to be the older one between the two, that tom didn't seem to have any interest in fighting considering the fact he yelled at the other to stop. She shook her head and unsheathed her claws, she couldn't sit and wait for the older tom to break the fight up and risk Cassandra getting even more hurt just to protect her. She let out a hiss and lunged onto the back of the hostile tom, attempting digging her claws into his back.

Greysnarl had turned his head away in an attempt to avoid the incoming claws to his head, giving the other she time to kick at his stomach. It gave him enough time to notice the other she launching herself at his back, and he sank his teeth in to her foreleg and threw her roughly off to the side. He had to step back from the cat who had been under him to catch his breath back, unintentionally giving her time to get to her paws if she needed.

The tom's ears flicked back when he heard Scorchfall say something, but he didn't ask. I'll talk to him later, Tiger thought and sent a brief kind look to the warrior as he approached behind. "Of course it's me! I was just joking. Hi, Rainflower. How has life been outside of the clan?" he asked with a purr. "I don't believe I've met this she-cat," Tiger added and turned his head to the outsider beside Rainflower. The two looked very similar - perhaps they were relatives?
