As soon as he arrived in the medicine cat den, he saw that Pigeonpaw was still asleep. Hailnight smiled softly to himself and headed back out into the clearing. There were still many cats waiting, but they were slowly getting into the patrols. He noticed Cinderfeather watching over Smokepaw and grinned even more. Hailnight was good friends with the warrior, and he was fond of the apprentice. He padded up to her and waved his tail-tip in greeting before resting it on her flank. "Good evening, Cinderfeather. Are you going out on patrol?"

Flicking her tongue at Leopardpaw, she stifled laughter and flicked an ear in the other apprentice's direction when she made the remark about love. "You watch, I'm going to do better than you! I don't let anything phase me," Lightpaw boasted proudly and raised her head. When Mosquitopaw approached, she frowned at his sudden mood change and batted at him playfully. "What's up with you? Of course, you can come along, dork," she told him affectionately.

Cinderfeather's pelt rippled a bit when she felt him put his tail on her flank. She looked back at him and smiled a bit. "I plan on it. After all, if the patrol finds anything, I wouldn't want to miss it." She chirped softly, unaware as to how excited she was to go out.

Smokepaw once again looked back at his house older sister, just to see Hailnight beside her. The two were good friends, but Smokepaw always thought they could be more than that. He smiled at them while keeping his thoughts to himself.

Spotted limped beside her father. When she was younger, an accident rendered her with a slight limp. Although it wasn't very noticeable, it was if you looked closely. Spotted huffed slightly."I don't think my paw is up for a long walk, Golden." The tom nodded his head and guided her to a patch of moss she could lay on a few fox-lengths away.

He walked out of the warrior's den giving a few licks to his shoulder fur, before looking around for the cats, wondering if he could go with the patrols or out by himself. His eyes located the one of the apprentice's Emberpaw, which was the same age as him, but still an apprentice, he had some feelings toward the ginger tom but thought they could be too wrong to show.

"That's understandable, and I hope you find something interesting," he sympathized, used to everyone sharing stories of what they saw. Hailnight gazed into her eyes and saw excitement, which made him smile more with a fluttering in his heart. He wasn't sure what that feeling was, but he brushed it aside. "You better tell me what you see out there! I almost never go on walks anymore. It's usually Snowpaw that collects herbs."

Lightpaw turned and padded over to the other apprentice, waving a paw in front of his face. "Hey! Sorry to break you out of thought, but do you want to join my friends and me?" she asked with a wide smile and placed her paw back on the ground after Smokepaw looked at her.

Stepping towards the others getting ready for an educational patrol, she nodded to the older warrior. “I'm not too sure where he is actually, I only saw Mosquitopaw up this morning. But we might be able to find him.” Answering him coolly, she couldn't help but turn to see her apprentice jump up, and nearly couldn't wait to start this patrol herself. Even if she appeared completely calmheaded on the outside.

Glancing around the camp, basically watching every cat mingle with everyone else as he deigned to sit this one out. He wasn't exactly what one would call a social butterfly after all, his sisters had been. Assuming that he would have to eventually go on patrol, he wanted to step forward but with all of the cats basically everywhere, he wasn't sure where to even go. Upon hearing the younger warrior speak up and help, he decided to follow after him like Windchaser had asked.

the lean tabby warrior noticed that mosquitopaw was eager to head out on a patrol, but he wasn't quite sure where silverspark was. he didn't like the idea of taking someone else's apprentice out without asking, but to he knew that the young cat wouldn't be happy sitting in camp while his friends were out on an educational trip. his eyes landed on his apprentice as she spoke up to mosquitopaw, inviting him to come along on the patrol. he nodded his head to the apprentice and said i'm sure silverspark wouldn't be mad if it was for an educational purpose. sure, you can come. just make sure that you are well-behaved! taking care of lightpaw is already trouble enough. he nudged his apprentice playfully before watching her head off to invite smokepaw. it seemed the warriors were going to be outnumbered by the apprentices....not sure if that was a good plan but it was what was going to happen.

his ears perked at the sound of windchaser meowing orders. bold move, he thought to himself before turning to the apprentices. alright, follow me over here, we will group up and then head out as soon as everyone is together. he moved to the side of the cave entrance. lavenderhaze and minnolight followed, with the apprentices of course. he looked over at minnowlight and said i'm sure one extra apprentice won't be too much danger, or at least I hope.

the leopard-spotted apprentice growled playfully at her calico friend, then stopped as mosquitopaw asked if he came along. of course lightpaw responded before she could, but she was content with the response. she would love for mosquitopaw to come along, even if his mentor wasn't with them. her eyes moved to sootpaw as mosquitopaw recommended that smokepaw come with. she didn't know the tom as well as the two apprentices that were with her now, but she wasn't against making new friends and letting others come along, especially if they looked like a "lost kit", according to lightpaw. before smokepaw was able to respond, windchaser spoke up and oragnized the cats into groups. she followed wolfrunner and minnowlight towards the "appretnice patrol" side. she sat down, waiting for the patrol to be grouped before they headed out. she looked up at minnowlight and said do you think we will find much prey? i really want to show what i've learned!
