Sheepfeather nodded his head once, meowing "Once again, thank you for coming with me." He knew any kind of none hostile friendship between cats in this clan were rare, but he much appreciated them. He had considered at one point leaving, running away from the clan, but at his age he didn't think he had much of a chance at all out there.

"You named it? Stars, you're going to be talking to rocks next." he mocked. He was well aware Crowscreech had named the crow, but he was just savouring the chance to argue with her. "I don't understand why, power or not, you'd want to do anything but sink your claws in to that thing.

His gaze hardening as Sharppaw growled at him, Falleneye lowered his paw and glared coldly at him. At Eveningpaw's apology, Falleneye growled lowly. "You should let me know when you leave. I do not want to waste time looking for an apprentice who's already been killed." he lowered his gaze to Sharppaw's paws and let out a low, irritated sigh. "Put your claws away. Unless you're hoping to be shredded to mouse dust, by any one cat who deems you an issue?" he threatened lowly.

Tornpool felt her stomach rumble and rose to her paws, stretching and yawning. She was heavily expecting, so each paw step towards the the fresh kill pile was slower than usual - and slower than safe. As she reluctantly plucked a vole up to eat, her mind floated along to birdtalon and made her shiver. What if her kits awaited the same fate as Birdtalon's..? No. They wouldn't. She would be absolutely sure of it. Growing uncomfortable with her surroundings, she slipped out of camp.

"Alright," The she-cat sighed, crouching close to the ground. Frostpaw opened her mouth, scenting the air for any close by prey. She sensed a mouse on the forest floor nearby. The apprentice glanced at Spiderbreeze, seemingly asking if she was supposed to catch anything or not. Though she wasn't exactly hungry, it was quite awkward to just stand crouched for a long period of time.

Stormkit followed close behind the other two kits, glancing around the forest. Though she wasn't sure how to properly hunt prey, the kit couldn't help but hope she actually catches something. She glanced at Gloomkit, noticing how she was scenting for prey. It seemed that Gloomkit would be most likely to actually catch something out of all of them since it looked like she knew what she actually was doing. At least with all three of them working together, they could probably return back to camp with at least one piece of prey.

"No problem," Rootwhisker smiled, glad that she at least had one cat in the clan who wasn't constantly glaring at her. After all, it was nice to just have a calm walk without having to worry about being attacked. Then again, any cat could be waiting for them in the bushes, but that didn't matter. At they're age, they wouldn't stand a chance alone but maybe together they could be fine. Glancing around, the elder gestured outside the clan with her tail, "Might as well get going," She padded towards the exit, waiting for Sheepfeather to follow.

As the warrior stalked away from Smokewhisp, she couldn't help but wonder how things would go from this point on. Turning towards the camp, Birdtalon briefly brushed by Rootwhisker and Sheepfeather, mumbling something under her breath as she ignored the elders. Things were going terrrible and there was nothing she could do about it, and on top of that there was some psycho murderer in the clan. Well, that does describe half the clan but you get the point. Glancing around the camp, the she-cat briefly laid eyes upon the nursery, wondering how Tornpool's kits would look like. They would be easy picklings, but also too weak for any real benefit. It would be better to wait until they're apprentices, but by then they would be able to defend themselves, and Tornpool would never let her get anywhere close to them anyway. Taking a better look, it appeared that Tornpool wasn't in the nursery at all, which was slightly disappointing.

Turning back to the camp, everything seemed so boring today. No one has been publically killed, which doesn't happen too often but normally is quite enjoyable. Perhaps she could find something else to do while the dawn patrol went out. Maybe see if one of them gets separated and kill them? It wasn't the most creative plan, but it was the most interesting thing she had to do now.
