The strawberry tiger slowly opened her eyes as she felt the hot breath of another on her face. "Oh, Astel." She greeted the youngster with a gentle yet sweet smile. Kat rolled over on to her stomach, starring her trainee right in to the eyes, a dominant movement though she wasn't trying hard with her little teen cub. She sat up then, and prodded the little girl with her paw, "Don't be so anxious Astel; I've already picked out your training for the day."

The tigress looked at Astel quietly, watching the female as she batted Kat with her tiny paws. Which caught a chuckle, and urged it to be expressed. As her sides quivered because of the short laugh, she squinted, and batted the yearling back with her large paws. Claws detracted, seeing as she wasn't wearing her metal caps for them. Though her canine teeth flashed a silver(and a decoration of small gold lines) as she smiled at Astel. "You're luck I was planning to fight; ot train fighting with you today, short stuff." Kat added, pushing the female playfully.

[[OOC: For some reason I was thinking Astel was a male o.o]]

{ Tegue }
I am a moth who just wants to share your light.
I'm just an insect trying to get out of the night.
I only stick with you because there are no others.

Image
The sun wasn't particularly bright, yet it awoke Tegue the instant it reached his previously closed eyelids. The yearling jerked into consciousness with a start, all four of his small paws colliding with the earthen floor with a loud thump as he literally leaped into the air; although they were relatively tiny compared to others' his age, they plowed into the soft ground and plowed several chunks of dirt into the air. His senses immediately went into overdrive, the young tiger's yellow-green eyes widening while the pupils contracted at the sudden exposure to light. They flitted rapidly back and forth, expecting to spot a menacing skeleton with the intention to kill him at any moment. The male's nostrils flared; his ears started registering the familiar sounds of the forest: the soothing lull of a warm wind breezing through the leaves of trees, the skittering noises of small prey animals scurrying about in the sparse undergrowth as well as among the branches, the various mews, roars, voices, and motions of his tribemates. It took Tegue a moment or two to process that he was under no threat. For an inexplicable reason, the tiger smiled. He relaxed his ears and blinked a few times after his paws met the ground once again; he landed fluidly and started trying to return his breathing into a regular pattern. The yearling chuckled at his own alarm, relieved that his state of fear was in the past. Nightmares were few and far between amid Tegue's nightly REM refreshment, and he didn't recall to have been suffering through one before his abrupt awakening. In fact, he had been having the most lovely dream. . . The "big" cat was tempted to return to it although he knew with an advancing sense of dismay that he had overslept enough as it was. A quick glance up where the sunlight was streaming through the leaves of his resting spot confirmed his trivial predicament. A bare hint of alarm started coursing through him again, and Tegue struggled to remember if he had anything in particular planned beforehand with his mentor, Tikaani. A few moments of silence pursued his pause; after it passed, the small tiger's faded grin strengthened. With any luck, his youthful mind had not failed him; he could not seem to recall anything his mentor had said to him where training was considered, so he left it at that. He even quivered his tail in easily-achieved glee a few times so the numerous metallic rings made a quiet, amusing tinkling noise as they clattered together; their shining surfaces threw colorful lights on anything within a few feet, and Tegue paused for a few seconds to watch them.

The sound of raised voices soon entered the slender feline’s ears; two of them were hissing and spitting as though their owners were arguing about something. Tegue thought he could guess who. The tiger rolled a few of his joints and turned around, his bones cracking from underuse while he moved. He ignored them and started padding away from his secluded clearing toward camp, flicking his jewelry-encompassed tail while he did so. His paws made barely a sound over the jungle floor as he stalked forward, peering curiously through the breaks in foliage. It seemed that Otava and Lyra were at it again! The two yearlings were always quarreling about something. . . This time, however, something was different. Perhaps it was the way – Otava leaped at Lyra’s throat! His strike was clumsy and impulsive; Tegue noted the signs of anger bristling in every hair on the arrogant, muscular tiger’s pelt, and the assault fell short of its intended target. A blur of orange-and-black fur, the malicious glint of metal, and then nothing at all, for the wind shifted at the moment and thwarted the watching tiger’s line of vision. He bit back a curse and strained his neck for a better view. The Seer’s apprentice’s mind whirled, and he cast his probing gaze frantically about. It wasn’t long for a gnarled, almost horizontal tree to capture his slightly golden eyes.

Tegue launched himself off the ground in and instant and landed slightly off-mark on the battered trunk; he scrabbled for a decent hold and eventually regained his balance, digging his long claws into the weathered wood. He then proceeded to practically walk his way “up” the tree and came to a rest where the canopy melted away into the spacious clearing that was his tribe’s camp. It overlooked the place, running parallel to the most coveted sunning spot where the tigers fought, and Tegue wasn’t surprised to discover that nearly every tiger in the tribe was watching the fight just as intently as the golden tabby yearling was. The trunk barely dipped under his slight weight, and he advanced carefully, desperate to get a closer look. Had he been on the ground, where he should have been, the tiger would have been tempted to say, “Three gold pieces on Otava,” The notion brought the ghost of a smile to Tegue’s lips although he knew he would never say it aloud unless he did so as a joke. Any type of metal was precious to him, and Lyra’s chances or winning were equal to, if not better than the gargantuan male she was challenging.

Tegue was too enraptured by the violent scene before him to notice the precarious creaking of the aged, slim tree beneath him as he crept ever closer.

[[Mehh. . . I typed way too much fluff this time. . . I was hoping to spark my muse, since I have pretty bad writer's block. It may not look it, though. . . I forced myself to type this. x.x;;
Anyway, I am extremely p!ssed off right now. My entire weekend, starting tomorrow and ending on Tuesday, was stolen from me. . . My mom agreed to send me off to some camping trip that I haven't learned about until today without my consent. So, instead of enjoying my off-time after a very stressful week and catching up on my roleplays, schoolwork, etc., I will be trudging around some woods, nursing my imploded mind. [/endrant]
. . . Sorry about that. As you can see, I am rather upset right now. I apologize for you guys having to read a paragraph of my whining.]]

Otava's rage filled eyes barely registered the impact of Lyra's paw, claws and all, across his face. The large male went sailing through the air with an unexpected strength from the female. But the moment his shoulder made contact with the ground, Otava rolled over and snarled, "You.." His shoulders were raised above his head in a threatening posture and his claws were deep in the ground. Suddenly something dripped near his paws and Otava lost all aggression for a quick second as he looked to see what it was. His "eyebrows" grew closer together as he saw the blood drop on the ground next to his paws. It had splattered and sent some of the blood flying into his fur. Otava lifted his paw to closer examine the blood that lay, soaking into his paw when suddenly, the true pain of the three, long claw-marks across his face hit him. He wiped the back of his paw across his face and drew it back to see a thin layer of blood across his fur. He looked back at Lyra with wide eyes before snarling again. He couldn't let that happen again.

He lunged again, his fury back in his grey eyes. At the last possible moment when he was within Lyra's reach, the large male spun, letting his side face the female. At the same time, he lashed his paws out, trying to get a grip on her leg and pull her down.

((I'll reply with the others in a few. Gotta get off the computer for a sec. xD And I honestly don't expect Lyra to get hit. Otava's purely swinging out in clumsy rage.. Nothing real. xD))

☾✯ Sιɛяяα ✯☽
Иαтʋяɛ'ƨ Ƨρʏ

The gentle, cool breeze blew through the forest rustling the leaves. Amongst the breeze, covering her sounds with the winds around her, a white tiger gave a soft growl. Her body was half covered in a black armor that glinted in the sun and shone under the moon. Around her neck, a collar sat with a black gem that was hanging down near the tigers furry chest. Her fur bristled in the wind and her yellow eyes scanned the place in search of threats. Sierra sneaked around a corner quietly barely audible before she caught sight of a dense undergrowth near a tree and slunk towards in. She slid in under the foliage, hidden as she looked out at the world beyond her. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a movement and snapped her head around to see it. It was just a youngster from the tribe. Allowing her self to relax a little, Sierra continued looking around, noting that nothing interesting - or dangerous - was going to happen soon. She got up and walked out of the bushy area and into the open sun, passing a few tigers as she passed. She walked further on, eventually leading on into the forest, creating her own path. She could hear things from all around her, but one stood out. She ran towards the commotion silently, reaching it in just under a minute. She heard a male growling, sounding rather angry and also a rather annoyed female. Looking out, she observed the fight, staying well hidden as she usually did. Her white tail flicked from side to side as her eyes preyed on the two tigers. Her white ears flicked a bit when the male lashed at the female. Raising her head a bit, she noted how clumsy his move was, leaving him an easy target. She wasn't much of a fighter but she knew enough to know the facts. Keeping her yellow, intense eyes trained on them, the seer watched as the tigers, supposedly warriors, fought. Something was familiar about the two an she thought back to the tribe, trying to figure out their names. What were they again? Jotava, Avia...Otava, that was it. And the female was Lyra. As a seer, she was keeping a good look out around her as well, listening in for odd sounds. The was a soft sound coming from a nearby tree that she guessed must have been another seer, being as quiet as that. But still, Sierra had managed to hear enough. Slowly standing up, she sneaked over to where the sound came from, crouching low just in case it wasn't as she thought. She noted it was coming from somewhere near the big tree just a little off to her left. Then she rounded a corner behind it, and watched carefully. She saw a tail flick suddenly and edged closer. She saw the white tigers leg, a bracelet around it and felt the tension drain out of her muscles. Tikaani, the old sneak. She went quietly over and prodded him with on of her paws. Then she sat down in a dark shadow near him, her yellow eyes clearly visible. "It's bad manners to intrude on something that really isn't your business," She said. Then she remembered she had been too and gave something of a chuckle and purred something that sounded like "Right on." She smiled for a split second before replacing it with an expressionless face. She wasn't much of a talker.

[Ugh, so sorry. That was a really terrible post. But I didn't know where to start...]
I used to be 'Wing'
A million miles away
Your signal in the distance
To whom it may concern
I think I lost my way
Getting good at starting over
Every time that I return

I'm learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
I'm learning to talk again
Can't you see I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?

.L. .y. .r. .a.
I am in misery,
There ain't no other,
Who can comfort me,
Why won't you answer me?

    A hidden strength was always her best shot. The small female was stronger than her appearance let out. Her green eyes were overrun by rage, yet she kept her game fair and filled with strategy. Her ears went back as he paused, letting out a bone-chilling cry of anger. He was hitting with blind rage, something that you shouldn’t do while in battle. Sitting softly, her tail hit the floor, somewhat annoyed at how this male was fighting, “Coward!

    He was wiping his forehead with his paws. She could tell he was shocked at how she fought. She hissed again, her silver casing glinting as the sun crossed her face, illuminating her green eyes in a way that made them sparkle with golden freckles. Her tongue fell lightly out of her mouth as he looked back at her. Somehow Lyra knew that was a queue to get to her.

    As he tumbled forward, she stumbled backward, finally raising herself after her swung to stick her leg. Her claws came out full force as she tore into his side, softly nipping his shoulder area. It wouldn’t do any good to majorly hurt a warrior of a tribe. But as she gazed down at the red staining his grey pelt, she stopped and backed off of him, “Had enough or do you want more!

    Word Count:: 222
    Comments:: I'll try to put a weak spot in there somewhere so she gets hurt too. I feel like I'm powerplaying, though.
Your silence is slowly killing me,
You really got me bad,
I'm gonna get you back,
Gonna get you back.

{{Gah, Winter, I LOVE your quote. Dx I need some Linkin Park for mine now...what to choose, what to choose...lol}}

Tikaani flicked an ear in the direction of Sierra as she approached him, prodding him with one of her paws to let him know she was there. To be honest, he hadn't heard her coming; his attention had been on the fight in front of him, and still was, though now with the addition of Sierra. He turned his head slightly to look back at her, then chuckled dryly, his tail flicking once more.

"You can't very well blame me...they're fighting in the center of the camp. Lyra knew this...she wanted a spectacle." A small smirk passed his black-lined lips, then he allowed himself a yawn, his jaw stretching wide and baring his silver-cased fangs. He was almost never without his armor, though he couldn't figure why...he just never felt the need to discard it, and if something bad happened, he'd need it.

The large male shifted position and sat up to his haunches, forepaws resting on the ground in front of him. His tail moved to curl around by his side, ceasing its occasional twitching as he watched the fight once more. It had become rather intense; Otava was bleeding, and Lyra showed no sign of giving quarter, but was certainly taking all she could get. Tikaani's eyes shifted to rest on Otava and his blind rage; something had pushed him over the edge, that was for certain, and his movements were completely and utterly out of control. Lyra, though fierce, was doing a better job of keeping her emotions in check, instead channeling her anger towards her opponent.

Another small smirk twinged his lips when Sierra spoke again. "Right on."
"Glad you decided to join me," he answered, then sighed, his tail flicking only once in idle. His eyes roved over the clearing, and were caught by the movement of a tree branch bending precariously over the encounter. A low growl rumbled in his chest when the tail of the creature came into view; decorated with multiple bands and ornaments. "Tegue," he muttered, then chuckled and shook his head. "That little miscreant." He slowly stood and looked at Sierra with a slightly apologetic glance. "If you'll excuse me," he said, bowing his head slightly to her before turning, padding around towards the other side of the clearing. He paused when he caught sight of Zarnia; her face held an apprehensive look, and immediately made Tikaani slow in his steps. He was no fool; Zarnia was one of the most revered Seers in the tribe due to her exprience. No one dared disrespect the slightly elder female, and no one refused to take the opportunity to follow her advice.
But nearly as soon as the look had crossed her face, it was gone. He huffed slightly under his breath and continued on, deciding on speaking about it with her later. She had sensed something, he knew.

He reached the tree before long, and noted with dim dismay how close to breaking the branch actually was. He arched one eyebrow and looked up at the yearling, then heaved himself up onto his hind legs, forelegs reaching for the branch. His claws extended and his paws caught hold, a smirk spreading on his face. The shoulder muscles beneath his white fur pulled taught, tugging down on the branch. Most certainly not hard enough to snap it, but definitely enough to give the mishevious yearling a good shake when he let go.

"Will you surrender in peace?" he questioned, eyeing the young tiger crouching on the branch above him. "Or do I have to fling you into the next forest?"

As Otava dashed toward the female, he felt her claws scrapped the tiny bit of exposed flesh that was between his silver plates. He snarled and turned, doing something a warrior of the tribe usually never did; he removed his silver plates and stood before this female with his body exposed. Obviously this female was winning without it and he figured he could too. He just had to think.. Which is what he planned to do, starting now. She could obviously detect all of his attacks before they even came, so he had to do something different. Something he'd never done before. But how could he get ahold a tigress that knew every single drop of his info? She knew everything about him and he knew.. nothing.

Otava lowered himself into a laying position next to his discarded armor and stared at the female with his grey-gold eyes rarely blinking. He didn't say a word and almost all of his anger seemed to vanish. His ears continued to swivel and search for sounds, but other then that, he sat stone still, waiting for her to do something in response. If things went according to plan, this female would chance a walk toward Otava and he could get his claws into her fur.. But somehow, he didn't count on it.

((Sorry it's so.. Bland. xD))

The girl you just called fat...she's overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly... she spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped... he is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars... he fought for his country. That guy you just made fun of for crying... his mother is dying. { Zmija, I deleted Hada and changed Gamba to an apprentice if that's alright? I felt like making a bones charactor but the max I can deal with is four. I'll hopefully make a bones charactor on the same post as my others charactors if that's alright. If Gamba is allowed to be an apprentice, I was wondering if Teacup, your charactor Lyra could be his mentor? Oh and hopes that's alright what I did with Zarnia}

-_-_-_-_-
She was tired. She had enough. Her dull, orange eyes didn't notice the other tigers as the old Seer locked them on the fighting pair. She rose herself to her paws before making her way towards the scuffle. It was insane on how these two were fighting, in the village. It was a time where unnecessary bloodshed was not need. Something made her speak up instead of things just falling into place. Her anxiety was getting to her. The whole idea of The Bones were getting to her. Her dull eyes, one that had never hold a spark seemed to be a lit as her nimble legs carried her to the fight.

"Enough!" Zarnia's hiss was sharp, yet still in her soft-tone as Otava removed his armor. Eyes flicking from one cat to another, her mind still wondering as to why these two wished to preform the battle tango over some spot, even daring to fight without their armor. Only had she seen yearlings fight over such silly things and with such stupidity. "You two don't deserve your armor if a resting spot ruffles your fur. There's no need for any fight between tribe members, between family." Her venom had calmed down as her shoulders sagged slightly. The females tail stopped lashing as she now glanced every once in awhile to Otava and Lyra. "Act your age." She added more softly before returning to her spot on the sidelines.

As she listened to what replayed in her head, she suddenly felt nervous. Either of the young cats could probably take her down easily, maybe all that Zarnia would cast on them a few good cuts. Just because she was a Seer didn't mean was entirely helpless. Her ears layed back slowly as she nervously glanced down at her paws. Her rhythmic thumping od her tail returned as she tried desperately to find the right tune to the old poet's epics. Nothing seemed right though, nothing.

Her paws slowly started to fidgeted with one another as she tried contently to get hold of her body. She wanted to be control, but part of her just wanted to let go and vanish so that nothing seemed to worry her no more.

The young hunter's head cocked slightly as Otava got his tail handed to him. Lyra was slashing up Otava like nothing. Even Razi, a hunter, could see the males blind guided moves. A small smirk covered his lips as he thought that this big 'hot-shot' was going to loose to a challenge. His tail flicked back and forth behind him as he waited for someone to cave- who looked like it might be Otava.

His eyes seemed to gain interest as his mother raised up and raised her voice. The only time he had seen her speak out was he would mess with the other seers as a yearling. Razi's head lowered slightly out of shame that he was enjoying his tribe mates preform in a small battle. It was just that things were so, dull around the village. The information of the Bones had made mostly everyone go all tense and stuff. The male snorted as he ran his paw over his face, looking for something to occupy him now. If the old Seer's words didn't stop them, then the fight would most likely end soon and so would the short time where things seemed exciting.

Turning his head to his left, the male tiger lifted himself up and lumbered over the shaded part of camp. A white tigress lied there next to a large tree. Settling down a little aways form the Seer, Razi turned to greet the female, "Well this is an interesting way to begin the day, is in it?" He said with a soft chuckle. His young legs stretched before him, the ones that had gone through countless days of training to become the hunter he was. His newly plated armor covered his chest and back, something that aided in hunting down large prey that could kill you as well. His orange gaze drifted away from Sierra's light blue face with dark brown stripes over her white fur.

((That's perfectly fine Popcorns! I totally understand, I would make another character, but I'm having a hard time with muse and keeping up with three right now. xD I'll switch around your forms once Teacup accepts/declines your apprenticeship. :3 Oh and I'll be expanding with the Bones once we get more. There just aren't enough right now to keep the story going at the moment. ^^))
