Peonypool looked up from her day dreaming and her eyes were hazy for a few sparse
moments. Though the soft rumble of her purr didn't leave her chest as her pelt
was toasty from the sun. She smiled kindly, Littlebrook was a kind tom from
what she could tell, "Of course, I need some new herbs anyways. Parts
of my supplies seem to have wilted." She meowed warmly, her voice was light
and friendly, soft even. The she-cat cat up, and stretched with a delighted purr at
the action. She looked at Littlebrook once more and waved her tail, "Thank you for
inviting me." She added- she felt her stomach churn with a strange mix of excitement and
nerves. Something she hadn't felt since she was very young and still in training
to be a warrior instead of a medicine cat. "Did you sleep well?" She inquired, it
was a genuine question, sleep quality was important and she liked to ask friendly questions
even if they may seem mundane.

Buzzardclaw nodded and trotted forward, nuzzling around in the preypile
for a plump rabbit. He himself didn't care for rabbit, it was too lean and tasted
oddly like grass. He did however fancy a plump water-vole. The tom picked
around for a hare before the heather brown fur of one caught his eye. The tom
grabbed the foot of the hare and pulled it out, leaning down to give it a good sniff
to assure it's freshness. He picked up the rabbit and padded back over to Briarshadow,
she was quite a relaxing cat to be around, she was friendly but not gooey sweet like
some. He plopped the rabbit down and sat, "Alright, what will you be
having? There are some shrews in the pile if you want those." He meowed in
a dead serious tone and bent down as if he was going to take a bite from the hare
before he chuckled, "Just kidding, care to share it with me?" He asked
with a playful smile, he liked to joke sometimes just to humor himself, but
if it was funny to others that was simply an added bonus.
