Creamflower sighs and looks at Sunstar in the eyes. "You know," she said after swallowing her bite of the fish. "I have been thinking and Ive always wanted to be a mother."

Sunstar's heart skipped a beat, his golden eyes sparked for a moment, but he kept his cool. "Oh really?" he asked, his low voice sounding nonchalant, but his eyes gleamed with interest. He had a million thoughts running through his head, but he said none of them, and waited for Creamflower to respond.

Turtle glanced back at Silver, giving him a bright smile before continuing on her way. She limped on for some time before a scent hit her like a wall. Herbs. She paused for a moment, before continuing on, attempting to run but she was too tired, so it looked more like an awkward, fast walk. She couldn't tell if she was imagining it or not, but she saw black fur through the trees. Mind and heart full of hope, she stopped paying attention, to her surroundings. She gasped as she fell head over tail, collapsing in a bush after tripping over a root.

Rivermist walked quietly through the forest, the sun turning to liquid gold as it started to push through the trees. She could scent rain on the way, but it didn't seem as if it would be for a while yet. She didn't pay attention as she walked and simply let her paws carry her through the trees. She was too focused on trying to clear her mind from the nightmares again. If a mouse bit her she wouldn't have even paused. Her tail flicking steadily, she continued on.

Creamflower smiles and nods, her blue eyes sparkling with interest. "Yes really." she said.

Nightecho ; Location - Forest ; Tags - Turtle
Nightecho jumped in surprise at the sound of a heavy thud not to far away. He dropped his package of herbs he was so startled. Nightecho waited in fear for something to come and snatch him away, however, when nothing happened he quickly gathered his herbs and crept forward to investigate. As he neared where the thud came from, a familiar scent managed to sneak past the smell of herbs to Nightecho's nose. Eventually, a calico pelt became visible through the undergrowth.

Cloudpaw nodded and waited to be shown where the hollow was. She trotted to her mentor's side and followed her (sorry for the short reply for her. Im getting sleepy and may nap soon lol)

Sunstar was finally at a loss. Being a cat who usually knew what he was doing, this was all new to him. He opened his mouth to say something, and then closed it again. The words wouldn't come to him. Finally, after probably looking quite silly, he spoke. "And?" he asked, the one syllable word drawn out quietly.

Turtle groaned, feeling stupid but not getting up. She heard soft pawsteps and the familiar scent of herbs washed over her as the cat came closer. Nightpaw...?" she called quietly, tucking her paws under her. It caused a sharp pain in one of her front legs, and she noticed that it was in an awkward angle, most likely dislocated.

Finally managing to spot the tree, noticing the crack that seemed to run down a ways to the hollow underneath, reminding herself to remember that for later so she can find it fast. She then pads over towards the tree pushing the mouse into it before waiting for Cloudpaw to do the same. "We can keep moving the way we have been but stay in this area since we have prey and that way if Thrustfoot can every get Creekpaw up he still might be able to find us."

Silver smiled back at the she-cat as he watched her disappear into the underbrush, hoping that she finds the cats she's looking for and gets to do whatever it is she needs. Still on the edge of the territory Silver is on higher alert than normal as he makes his way back towards the scent markers. At some point, he knows that his curiosity will get the better of him and he will end up wondering in to figure out why the group came all of a sudden and what they all are, but for now, he's content on his own.

Nightecho tilted his head and the sound of his old name, "Turtle? Is that you?" he called out, his voice muffled by herbs. He hesitated before stepping out into the open, looking quite surprised to see the shecat once again. It had been a long time since he last spoke to the calico cat before him. So long in fact that it was when they still lived by the lake and the plague had not yet come. She looked older, more of an adult now, Nightecho wondered if he looked the same.

Cloudpaw followed her mentor to the tree, reminding herself of how it smelled of old damp wood. She placed her shrew next to the mouse Gingertree had caught. "What should we hunt next? Do you think theres anything larger than mice and shrews?" she asked once her mouth was shrew free

"Well I, uh, never exactly gave it much thought... Doesn't cross my mind too often... But now that you say something..." Sunstar mumbled, his tail flicking. He felt as if Creamflower was probably laughing at him on the inside, but was too kind to actually laugh at him. Who would have thought that such a strong looking leader would lose the ability to speak.

Turtle's heart skipped a beat, hearing her old friend's voice again. "Hi Nightpaw," she mewed, keeping the pain out of her voice, and her leg hidden. When he stepped into the open, she could fully see how he changed. He was bigger than her now, but he still had that frightened gleam in his eyes, causing her to smile faintly.

Creamflower could sense that Sunstar is unable to talk so she licks his cheek to encourage him to speak. "Go on." she said encouragingly. She doesnt think its funny how hes unable to speak right now and feels he needs a little confidence.
