she smiled, grateful for the comforting lick. "Thank you. " she whispered. The compliment had cheered her up a little. Deep inside, she hoped juniperfrost would be ashkits mentor, though she didn't really mind as long as her kit was safe.

Juniperfrost continued to watch the kit thoughtfully, resting his head on his paws again. He spotted Cloudtuft emerge out of the nursery, headed toward Thrushleap. "So you plan to help them with their kits?" he meowed, remembering what Moonflower had said a little bit ago in their conversation.

Thrushleap laid in the center of the camp, picking at her vole every now and then. Really, her mind was elsewhere at the moment - her sister, Cloudtuft, was sleeping, anyway, so it's not like she'd have anyone to talk to. She wasn't.. often talked to.

Leafpaw sat in the entrance of the camp, batting at her own tail, frowning. 'Like always,' she thought grumpily, 'I don't have anything to do.' She was similar to Thrushleap in that single way - Thrushleap was a much more loving, caring molly than Leafpaw - no one ever wanted to talk to her. It was upsetting to Leafpaw, to say the very least.

Juniperfrost nodded slowly. "I don't know I'd want kits." Not that he could ever have them - but he didn't know he was unable. No one else did, either, because they just.. couldn't know. There was no way. "They seem like a little bit of a hassle.. but how am I to know." He shrugged, now returning his gaze to the two kits playing.

Duskfall

While most others were at camp, lazing about, Duskfall was hunting. So far, he'd caught a single robin.. not much, he knew that, but it was good for getting his mind off of his thoughts - not necessarily 'disturbing' thoughts to others, but to Duskfall, they were disturbing enough for him to want to keep his mind away from them, which was not something the tom normally wanted. Nevertheless, he was out and hunting.

Owlfeather grumbled to herself, sitting up in a tree overlooking the camp. She complained about things often, and this just so happened to be one of those times. Currently, pine needles were falling onto her head from squirrels running about in the branches above her, but she just didn't feel like standing up and doing anything about it.

[ ooc;; if you are to do that I strongly suggest you provide a reason they are alone.. because if they were not abandoned/their parents died, the clan would not take the kit in and return them to their parents. at the very least they'd search for the parents. ]
