Above his blindness, he was getting a very sharp nose "I let you to choise the warrior you want to go with us" he meowed turning toward the apprentices den "I will go to see Ashpaw and maybe Silverpaw too, I pretty sure I heared her loud voice just a moment ago" he continued.

She taked a deep sniff to the air, just to be sure "pretty good, can you say where the scent is coming for? And if you need to choise, which one you could try to hunt first?" she continued her questioning.

He nodded " Well, the clan was mostly just awaken when you left, many cats go to hunt. As far I know...so I don't think the fresh kill pile could be too low when we return" he said to him.

ashpaw was barely awake, and he slowly stretched. everyone was out - though he didn't mind. he looked around him, his eyes incredibly observant.

he smiled slightly - he still had a little to learn. "oh, right. sorry, I sometimes forget things like that." he said. the older apprentice often felt dozey, and sometimes ditzy for not knowing tiny things like that.

D A R K P E L T
"sorry, i'm out of it today... so, you wanna train?" he said, almost snapping back to reality. he always let starlingpaw choose what they'd do - he knew he wasn't the best mentor, but so far... he was glad he had the calm starlingpaw and not the bouncy, energetic apprentices like silverpaw or the cocky, challenging apprentices like bramblepaw.

"well... they seem to be... over there." she pointed with her tail. "by logic, the rabbit would be best to go for first, as it's more food for the clan, and going for the mouse first may scare it."

She looked at her little while before answering "Yes and no, Yes you're right the rabbit could be better prey to the clan, but instead a mouse, rabbit is bigger, stronger and faster. If you don't catch it fast, it will run away and so will the mouse" she said smilling at her "Thought if you go and choise the mouse, yes chasing it will scare the rabbit away, but if there is one mouse...there is always others too" she continued, flicking her tail toward a little rock, which was not too far where the first mouse was scented.

"stormclan?" the old leader meowed. she knew better than any cat that cloverstar never took too kindly to strangers. "they were hungry and lost, me and puddlestar agreed to let them take willowclan's territory as we would have expected the same." fernstar explained, not even flinching as the grey speckled she cat in front of her sat bolt upright, dark green eyes narrowed slightly. "and nobody dared go to willowclan to find out what really happened to them? those apprentices had more courage than cloverclan and stoneclan combined!" fernstar sat up from where she crouched on the stone, tone calm as she addressed her leader. "what were we supposed to do? send cats into territory without knowing what they would find, while there were still foxes roaming the place?" the tabby challenged, scratching behind her ear as she continued. "anyways, whiterain and rosedust told us that they don't know what happened as they were both out of camp. and since it was enough to separate a whole clan, it must have been dangerous."

"call me a 'paw all you like berrytail, but i'm a strong and fearless warrior!" the brown tabby chirped lovingly, affection lacing his mew as he gave his mate a swift lick on the cheek. "come on you three, try and keep up with me!" sparrowflight giggled, haring off into the forest as soon as he was out of camp, heading straight for the training clearing with his tail streaming behind him.

"good. you can't be forgetting things like this when i'm not around anymore." threeleg meowed, withdrawing slightly so goldenpaw was a pawstep ahead. "do you think you can lead the way now?" he asked, green eyes narrowing slightly as he gazed through the undergrowth and towards the small clearing where the thyme grew.

whiterain gave a nod to the blind black tom, before quickly mewing upon remembering he couldn't see him. "yep. i'll go find some cat." he mewed before leaving deadgaze's side and disappearing back into the warriors' den. "sorrelcress? me and deadgaze are wondering if you want to come on the border patrol with us.

the she-cat nodded, rising to her paws and looking up at the larger male. "yep, i'll go get wavepaw and find you when i've got her." juniperfrost purred and pressed her muzzle to her mate's before trotting out of the den and hopping down the tumbledown rocks. "wavepaw!" the warrior called as she spotted her apprentice and trotted over. "good to see your awake bright and early! bluestar wants us to join him on a hunting patrol, if you're up to it."

"why wouldn't bramblewhisker be proud of us? we're the best apprentices in the clan! you saw me catch two mice yesterday while hunting!" the brown fae chirped, trotting out of the camp and stumbling slightly as sparrowflight raced through the trees. "he's the most kit-like warrior i've ever met!" bouncepaw giggled as she dashed away after him without asking for her own mentor's approval. she sped through the undergrowth, easily slipping through clumps of bracken and bramble thickets thanks to her small size.

the golden tabby purred happily, tearing her gaze from the trees as she heard yellowpaw's mew greeting her as the golden she cat came running towards the tree with rainpaw and dewpaw behind her. "hello girls! i caught us a nice fat hare so you three can have first dibs." morningdawn purred, watching her daughters dig into the prey hungrily. she hoped tigerfang missed his family, and somewhat regretted what he'd done.

Sorrelcress's ear tilted back at the light tom's call. "Hmm? Patrol? Sure!" The pale shecat stood, shaking the moss from her pelt. She gave one last look at her brother before trotting out of the den, stretching her legs luxuriously. Emitting a light yawn, Sorrelcress met Whiterain's gaze with her own. "Ready to leave when you two are."

Sagebird was asleep in his nest, which was right next to Sorrelcress's. His scarred flank rose and fell gently as he breathed. He didn't dream; Sagebird hadn't dreamt for a long time. Not since he left Frozenbreeze in Stoneclan. She had been his companion for a good while; his best friend. And... funnily enough, he missed the friendly shecat.

Littlemoth trotted through the territory, enjoying the morning scents. He had gone out to do a bit of hunting, but also for alone time. Mornings were often hard on Littlemoth; during his moons of traveling, he had gotten used to seeing Softmist's bright smile whenever he woke. And now, he would never see it again. He sighed, spotting a patch of lavender bordering a clump of clover. "Oh, Softmist... you would have loved it so much here..." Nostalgia prodded the tom to pick some of the purple flowers, but he knew it would just make his heart ache more. Softmist had carried the scent of lavender. Before he could be overwhelmed by emotion, Littlemoth turned around and headed in a different direction.

She grinned, tilting her head up to look at her mentor. Although the older shecat was small, Wavepaw was still quite young, and not yet at her head level. "Yes! I'm gonna catch a big fat squirrel, too!" The chocolate siamese cheered. She flicked her tail, giving a little leap in place in excitement. "And it's gonna be biggerer and bettererer than all the other apprentice's catches!"

He walked into the apprentices den, stopping when he smelled Ashpaw familliar scent "Ashpaw, I and Whiterain will go to a patrol, You are welcome to join" he meowed to the grey tom. Turning then toward the noisy apprentice the stubborn Silverpaw "Silverpaw, Whiterain asked me to call you to go with us too" he said to the silverous she-cat.

She looked at her smilling a little "Well that's your to desice about...go on little one" she meowed gently "Show me what you're learn so far" she ordered, flicking her tail that the field is all hers now. .

He nodded "Alright I will" he meowed taking a deep sniff at the upcoming air. The scent of the two she-cats comed to his nose, telling him where to go "This way" he meowed taking the lead now.

He exited the apprentice den, his eyes darting about. He had been found to be deaf very early on. He hadn't heard him, but nodded after seeing him mouth the words "border patrol."

G O L D E N P A W
"Of course." He replied, scenting it up ahead, just sniffing the air before approaching. He felt the sun , it was warm on his back,and he now remembered this was the right place.

S I L V E R P A W
She turned. "Sure, it sounds fun !" She said, following the two.

B R A M B L E P A W
She nodded, prowling towards the mouse, keeping low to the ground.

D A R K P E L T
He nodded. "That's good." He replied.

she looked at crow, wondering what he wanted to do.

M O O N F L O W E R
She basked in the warmth of the den, then she remembered something she had to do, somewhere she had to be. Silently, she left camp.

(Eclipse, you missed a detail from v1 - moonflower decided to stay a queen, and to help look after kits. Also, would anybody else mind if the queen had a plot point where she leaves camp for a few days, returning sick? (I would make her a loner or a rogue mate so she could return with kits but I have too many characters ))

Fallenstride woke up, yawning quietly. It wasn't too hot out, but it was decent weather. The she-cat padded slowly out of the nursery, wincing slightly as one of her kits jabbed her in the stomach. This is so uncomfortable. Just what I needed to start the day.. Fallenstride tried to sit down, but felt another sharp pain in her belly as she wrapped her tail around her paws. She groaned, trying not to draw attention to herself as she sat there, constantly groaning and grumbling. Fallenstride rolled over onto her back, trying to ignore her kits kicking. Why do they kick so much? How rambunctious are they?! Fallenstride continued to sunbathe, pushing the slightest thought of her kits to the back of her head.

Bluestar followed his mate out of the den and spotted Whiterain and Sorrelcress talking. He trotted towards them and greeted them with a nod "Morning Whiterain, Sorrelcress" He meowed to the two cats politley. "I think I heard you talking about border patrolling?" He asked with a smile. If he was right this would make his work much easier.

Dustpelts flank moved slowly as he slept. He had by now adapted to his new body very well and didn't even think about him being diffrent much anymore. It happend that he sometimes dreamed back to being "normal" but it never weighed him down too much. He was happy for his two best friends who were now mates. He often wondered if he would be able to get one in the future.

Florian was cleaning his fur from dew and dirt. His small den was not perfect for isolation from water but he had not bothered to go looking for something else. He remembered the dark cat who had spoken to him some moons ago. What had that been all about, could a cat not sleep where he wanted in the woods. The white tom grunted at the memory of the mysterious tom before he returned to grooming.
