Aquafeather watched her kit eat the mouse slowly with each painful bite. The silver queen help the kit along by ripping it into smaller pieces, hoping it would make it easier for her daughter to swallow. Sighing lightly, Aquafeather reached for her squirrel and began eating some of it. At the sound of Sunsetkit's quiet complaining, Aquafeather gently ran her tongue over the weak kit,"It's alright, Sunsetkit. I know." She comforted softly.

Sunsetkit ate the mouse very slowly, whimpering quietly as she did. A few bites later, the little calico she-kit couldn't take it anymore,"M-Ma..... I-It hurts!...." She complained weakly while whimpering,"I-I don't..... w-want to...... to eat it..... a-anymore....." She whimpered, burying her little nose in Aquafeather's fur as her mother licked her pelt.

Briar caught a few mice and left them in a pile by the traveling group so that the ones who couldn't hunt for themselves had something to eat. She trotted across the barn floor and carefully clambered up the wooden ladder that lead up to the barn loft. The young she-cat looked back down at the traveling cats before going to her nest and curling up in it.

The Tawny she-cat giggled. "And some will be like you love! I can't wait for little Owlcall's to run around!" She took her paw and ran it through the the hay, smiling at the thought. "I would love to have Rambunctious kits too! Some with your smarts and bravery, and some with my agility and overwhelming beauty." She puffed out her chest and cuffed Owlcall over the ears lovingly, a smirk on her face.

She stood up from her spot on the dusty ground, and shook out her fur before limping over towards the giant trees branches. She hissed as she jumped from branch to branch, her paws aching in protest before she landed on the branch she ussually used to call meetings. The black and white she-cat let out a loud yowl and looked down at the camp, her yellow eyes scanning the area. "All cats old enough to climb the Great Oak, get her beneath the High Branch for a clan meeting!"
