Viho turned at the sound of her voice. So that was where she was... "I agree Ara. Would you like me to go get you something or would you rather I stayed here?" He cocked his head, raising his head so that his fur caught the breeze. He was quite a proud wolf, but he was sure to not stare into Ara's eyes. He didn't want to challenge her, he was happy just where he was... Being second in command was enough for him. He was still important in his own way.

Ara shuddered in the wind. "Hunt, if you will. I can keep myself busy here." The Weaver was concentrating on a fawn's mind a few hundred yards away where it was grazing with it's mother. They were horribly simple-minded, only caring about the grass and the water, and soon this fawn would not be caring about any thing at all. It was impossible to do this without preparing for a while, otherwise life would be a whole lot easier. Ara gave a sharp bark as she cut off the fawn's mind, killing it. Far away the mother was nuzzling it, but it was a better death than being pulled apart by wolves. "A fawn is dead, the river." She sighed, her words slurring together as she curled up in a ball to sleep. "Get to it before the foxes do."

Viho nodded to her, smiling slightly. "Thank you Ara." His body tensed, his muscles bunching up as he prepared to sprint off...With one last push, he leapt forwards, sprinting quickly down to the river as fast as he could. He felt like he wanted to impress Ara, but he wasn't really sure why. As he got there, he felt a snarl escaping his throat. There was a fox over by the fawn, but it hadn't started eating yet. So he bounded over, snarling. Sure he didn't really want to hurt the fox, it wasn't it's fault it was hungry, but it was still Ara's kill, so he grabbed it and ran, reaching Ara in moments. "I got it."

Ara didn't move, but had curled up to sleep with her tail over her nose. Despite the warm weather her breath steamed up around her mouth as she slept. Killing the fawn had tired her out. "Give it to the pack." She muttered through her tail, one eye opening slightly to watch. She got up with some effort and slunk back to her den, chin resting on her paws. There was trouble coming from the four corners of the world, she could smell it in the air like a rancid stink. The Weaver stretched once more before falling asleep again.
