Greywing nimbly ran along the branch, carefully leaping from one tree to the next as the squirrel squeaked and did so. Just one more pawstep...! And the squirrel was in her jaws, its long tail dragging slightly on the wood as she leapt from the tree. She arched a brow at Puddlestar and Mintheart. The she-cat must have been confessing her love, she looked more nervous than a cornered mouse. With a chuckle she decided not to intrude, choosing instead to pick up her mouse and pad back to camp. As the sound of the wider part of the stream faded from her ears, the quiet chatter of the clan replaced it. Dropping her catch on the prey pile, she swiped her tongue over her muzzle and looked around, waiting to see if she was needed.

Puddlestar darts a paw into the water, flipping another fish out. It lands on the stones next to him, flopping wildly. He twitches his whiskers in amusement before killing it. So many good choices for deputy... Ravenfrost and Mintheart are both popular, but Brackenlake and Greywing are levelheaded and calm.*inward sigh* this is so hard He looks up at Mintheart when she starts to speak. She seems... nervous about something. I wonder what's bother her?

Cricketkit let out an excited squeal when she saw Brackenlake, running over to her father. She ducked under his stomach and wound around his legs. "Can I go hunting with you?!" She chirped, peering up at him with wide, pale blue eyes. Flamingkit trotted over, her ginger tail flicking back and forth excitedly. The only time she got excited was when Brackenlake was back in camp, or when she got to sleep.

Soaringbird purred and hauled herself onto her paws, padding over to join her mate and kit. "Hey." She purred, touching her nose to his ear.

Rustpaw slipped out of the apprentices den, yawning widely. The tom had gone on the dawn patrol and his mentor let him go back to sleep when they got back, since they'd been training late the day before.
