Wolftail climbed to his huge black paws and made his way across the nursery. A warm smile spread across his muzzle as he looked at his kits. He sat down where they were playing before glancing over his shoulder to his mate who was getting some prey. As Ivykit bumped into one of his Clanmates, he padded over and licked between her ears. "You silly little furball," he purred as he stood next to the smaller kit.

When she felt Cloudsky's grip loosen she spun onto her back and used her hind paws to push him off of her before leaping to her paws and jumping on him, pinning him and taking a sheathed claw down his belly whilst using her back legs to ensure he couldn't kick her off while she performed the move. Then she jumped back and lashed her tail once before smiling, waiting for him to get up so she could finish the combo.

Cloudsky

Cloudsky was a bit surprised by the power in her back legs, but when she finished the first part of the combo, he stood up, acting like he was going to try attacking again.

Padding back over to the nursery with the mouse clenched firmly in her jaws, Flowerheart dropped the food off to the side of the entrance and walked in quickly to wake Dovekit "C'mon little one" she purred gently, nudging the kit with her nose. Once she was up she followed the kit out of the den and smiled when she saw her mate with her two more active kits. He was a wonderful father to the kits and especially the eager two seemed to really look up to him. Breaking off three small pieces of mouse she placed one in front of Dovekit and the other two near hers for the other kits. Obviously they wouldn't be eating an entire mouse on their first try. "Go on, you need to try it sooner or later Dovekit" she mewed gently before walking over to Fuzzkit and nudging him in the direction of the nursery before making her way to Wolftail and Ivykit. Gently letting her tail semi-twine with his for a moment as she stopped next to them a soft purr of amusement rumbling in her throat she let her smallest kit apologize and finish talking before touching noses briefly with her "go on now, off to eat with you" she said lightly, letting out a content sigh as she looked to her mate "They really look up to you" she purred warmly, headed slowly back to the nursery entrance.

When she was woken, Dovekit muted her protests before they could quietly escape her as she padded softly out of her warm nest and took a seat outside the nursery, tail half-wrapped around her paws. She was a bit confused when she saw the mouse just sitting there waiting to be eaten... usually Flowerheart and Wolftail ate before waking her. As she opened her mouth to let the unusual smell seep onto her tongue the kit's whiskers twitched curiously and she felt herself growing hungry. When her mother placed the piece in front of her the young cat suddenly lost her appetite, fear and hesitance replacing it. "I-I don't want to Flowerheart" she murmured quietly, shifting her paws nervously. What if she didn't like it? Would her parents still lover her if she didn't like it?

Fuzzkit had managed to skitter to a halt before he followed in his sister's pawprints. Kneading his little paws in embarrassment the young tom-cat stood where he was, not wanting his sister to be alone but let out a sigh of relief when his father walked over. Catching his mother's familiar scent before he felt her nose and her gentle nudge the fluffy furball felt himself relaxing and walked over to Dovekit. Curiosity pricked at him while his stomach roared hungrily. The morsel in front of him looked amazing and he couldn't wait any longer. Lowering his head he tried to inhale the entire piece in one hungry gulp before coughing and putting it back down... apparently it was something that needed to be chewed and ripped apart. Smirking he half played and half chewed on the meat, eventually finding it to turn soft and yummy and making his tummy stop being so rumbly.

Feeling her father's rough tongue between her ears the normally pristine little kitten gave herself a shake and looked up at him before standing on her hind paws and pawing at him playfully "I'm not silly!" she mewed with a mix of indignance and laughter. When her mother padded back over and touched noses with her, Ivykit set herself back onto all four paws and turned tail happily running back to where her littermates were behaving vastly differently with this new food.

When Cloudsky got up, she seized her chance and shot forward. Bramblepaw's paw extended and she gave Cloudsky a light bop on the head, as if it were a blow. Then she jumped backward and purred happily, brown Bengal tail raised. "Did I do it Cloudsky? Did I do it well?" She asked excitedly.

Cloudsky gave a nod of approval, and then said "Nice job! At this rate, you'll be a warrior in no time!" Cloudsky looked at Silverstar, who had haven a nod of approval at Bramblepaw's work. He said "We'll do hunting later, but lets get back to camp for now."

Bramblepaw smiled and lifted her tail. "Thanks Cloudsky!" Then she nodded and began to follow her mentor back to camp. She turned to look at Silverstar and smiled. "Did you think I did good?" She asked the leader.

Silverstar looked over at Bramblepaw, and then said "Yes, you did very good. I'm impressed. You'll make a fine warrior." She continued to walk through the forest, and then when they reached camp, she looked at the fresh-kill pile, and saw that it was still pretty decent-sized.

"Good thinking Tinypaw. We'll have to consult the mothers of course, but if they are having troubles we'll make a stash of mouse blood and other herbs," she spoke, looking towards the nursery. "Can I trust you with consulting the Queen's while I go and check what I need to go and gather?"

The tom awoke with a start, a nightmare had plagued his dreams once again. Maybe it was time he stopped sleeping right after eating, it seemed to take a toll on his mind. His silver pelt was covered in sweat, and he let out a sigh upon waking up. Most of his fellow warriors had exited the den, so he didn't have to worry about waking many cats up. A pink tongue hurriedly ran over his pelt, trying to improve his appearance. Rising to his paws, he exited the den, flicking his tail in a passing greeting to Silverstar. Despite being a little rattled, he stretched and made his way over to Archerfur, seeing the tom looking a let restless. "Fine mornin' ain't it?," he asked, flicking his tail to get the tom's attention.

The she-cat jumped slightly when she heard Snowshines enthusiastic voice. "Good morning Snowshine, did you sleep well?," she asked in response, turning to her fellow warrior. "I'd love to go hunting, perhaps you could tag alon with us on the morning hunting patrol. I'm just waiting for the dawn patrol to return before I gather the rest of the cats."

Echopaw was awake, and already tending to his duties. In his mouth he carried a decently sized squirrel for Frostwhisker. He padded quietly into the Elder's den and smiled. Gently, he sat down the squirrel in front of the elder. "Is this alright or do you want me to get something else?," he asked, looking at Frostwhisker kindly.

A quiet bell like laugh escaped from the Molly, and she smiled hesitantly. "I don't think the moor is quite as comfortable as the den, and I would be careful about wondering at night," she spoke, her voice darkening as she reached the end of her words. "There are some dangerous bodies out there." The silvery calico turned her attention to the camp, trying to spot Owldusk around the clearing. "Wrenwhisker is speaking to Archerfur, so I think you have a little bit of time."
