Oakhearts eyes turned gentle "Dawnshadow, I promise you" he said softly, his voice confident. He hessitated before giving into his heart and touching his nose to her cheak in a reassuring way. He smiled and lay his head down once more.

Dawnshadow laughed softly. "Okay I will think of pixie things and other stuff that us females think about." She laughed again. Sometimes Brackentail's cluelesness made her laugh. Dawnshadow was surprised slightly when Oakheart's touched her but then she smiled at him sweetly.

Brackentail blushed a bit, and he continues to repeat in his mind that it was because of emberessement. That's all. Right? "Good." He almost grinned slightly. "Now I feel accomplished." He smirked, tucking his paws under his chest as he continued to attempt to keep her warm.

Oakheart smiled back but he was still uncomfortable. Perhaps he should ask foxstar if brackentail could take care of the fea... It would sure make life easyer...

Dawnshadow looked up at Brackentail and laughed again. "Stealing my lines are you?" she asked with humor in her eyes and she laughed again. She looked at Oakheart and just shook her head. She could see what he was thinking in his eyes.

Oakheart looked at Dawnshadow, his eyes curiouse. "Say, do you have any kits?" he asked, thinking of the young kit he had seen earlyer.

Dawnshadow shook her head. "No never had a mate either. My sister on the other hand is out there somewhere handling three kits and a mate. I don't know where she is though........" She trailed off.

Oakheart dipped his head in sorrow. Why did he have to ask such a stupid question? Why did his have to ask a question at all? Jeez. It seems he hadn't Lerner much since getting beeten by a human a few years back. He shuttered at the though "Its a potty you don't know were she is... I'm sure she would be just as caring as you" what the hell? What WAS that? God, he was getting cornyer by the second.

Oakheart smiled softly, trying to cover up his stupidity. Finnaly, he lay his head down to sleep, on the earth now after pushing all the moss under Dawnshadow. He didn't mind though. It wasn't too cold and the ground was softer then in the warriors den.
