He padded to the apprentices den entrance and looked inside. He ignored Tigerpaw and Rainflash. "Dapplepaw? Are you here?" he mewed into the den.

Blossomfall was very still while Crystalwing was stalking the squirrel. It's fluffy tail bobbed up and down every time it moved.

He could be a great hunter one day. He carefully padded over to Blossomfall. "When can we practice fighting?" He asked whispering. "I really want to!!" He said once again whispering.

''We will after we're done with the hunting patrol if you want.'' The she-cat turned to Crystalwing. ''Great catch!'' She turned and climbed slowly up a tree. She scanned the tree to see if there were any birds. The she-cat saw a bird and climbed quietly up the tree. Blossomfall stayed on the opposite side of the tree. She waited until she could reach it and then reached out her paw, quickly scooping the bird closer to her. The bird tried to fly out of her reach and she had to leap up to reach it again. She caught it in her mouth and quickly killed it, clinging to the branch.

She smiled. "Thanks." she meowed, before sniffing the air for prey. Spotting a mouse, she started to creep towards it. She stepped on a twig, and the mouse ran under the roots of a tree. "Mouse dung." she mumbled, embarrassed.
