The fluffy black and white she-cat was in her den sorting through the herbs. The room was filled with sweet and bitter smells. There was a pile of bright yellow flowers with their leaves laying in front of her. She sorted through the tansy plants and pulled out all of the withered plants. We're going to need more of these soon. Someone might get a cough in the winter and without these I wouldn't be able to treat it. The she-cat often fretted about having all of the herbs that she would need gathered up.

The brown and white tabby tom woke up in the warriors' den. He blinked his ice blue eyes a few times and then padded groggily out of the den. His back arched as he yawned and stretched. I wonder if they've sent out any patrols yet. The tom looked around at the cats who were still in camp and then looked towards the prey pile. I don't think that it looks very empty. The tom sat down and curled his tail around his paws.

The she-cat woke up and yawned. She then hurried out of the apprentices' den, squinting her eyes against the brightness of the sun. I hope that my mentor takes me training today. The she-cat sat a few fox lengths away from the prey pile, considering whether or not she should take a piece of prey to eat. I'm sure that I'll go hunting, but I don't know.

The loner woke up in the hollowed out tree that he had decided to sleep in the night before. He climbed his way up and then out onto one of the longer branches. There isn't any dog or fox that's going to get me when I'm in a tree. His black and white pelt stuck out from the dull brown tree bark.
