Pitter, patter. Raindrops thrummed upon the earthen terrain, faint thunder rumbling in the distance. The slender, alabaster leader was seated upon an outwards jutting boulder, droplets of water permeating through her sleek coat. Her ultramarine gaze remained unwavering as she inclined her muzzle to face the horizon as she contemplated. This storm will last until moonhigh, She predicted, her bushy tail curling over her mitts. As a sigh slithered from her vocal chords, she surveyed the camp, confirming that just about everyone was inside.

Mud slowly walked, she was tired, wet ,cold and hungry. Thoughts of city drifted through her head The city was dangerous but at least I shelter when it rained! she remembered the little spot she had found herself, a shelf in the abandoned house many cats had used the house as shelter when it rained very rarely were any of the cats ever mean to her. She looked around and spotted a mouse she didn't know why it was out when it was raining, to be honest she didn't really care. She tried that stalking thing she had been taught to do by her mother, she landed on the mouse clumsily she bit it's neck and swiftly ate it. She started to walk a hit faster with food in her belly she felt a bit better, she caught the sent of different cats This must be them she thought.

Pricking her ears, the feminine bounded from her high position onto the muddy, sloppy forest floor. As the rain began to intensify, she felt the drizzle form into a heavy downpour, the once light droplets cascading from the sky becoming painful projectiles. Dawnstar realized that overnight this could become a monsoon and flood the camp, but the odds of that happening dipped below average. As she strode towards the edge of the canopied encampment, the sharp scent of a loner, possibly a city cat, filled her glands. What would a single feline be doing, out here, in these weather conditions?

Swanfeather

Having collected a large glossy leaf to holf the herbs, Swanfeather was paused by a small stream to collect watermint.
Putting a few pawfulls of the herb onto the leafz she carefully grabbed in ends of it and began to move back towards camp.
