{CROWSHADOW}

Crowshadow trotted over to the leader after hearing his name called. A hunt. To find prey, stalk it, kill it. It was a peaceful thing, a ritual between predator and prey. "I'm ready." He commented to Cedarstar. He sat in front of the small patrol still forming and laid his bushy black tail over his paws. "Where shall we be hunting for the morning?" He inquired calmly.

Fawnstep
Fawnstep poked her head out of the den, and blinked. She shyly shuffled out, avoiding eye contact with all of the other cats. She spotted Cedarstar talking about a patrol, but didn't dare walk over. She sat down in the corner, staring at her paws. Fawnstep wanted to go and say hello to them all, but absolutely knew she didn't have the nerve to go and say it. She wrenched her gaze from her paws, and looked around the camp. Sighing, she blinked and stared at the blue sky.

Snowshine was ready to leave camp again. Her blue eyes gleaming as she looked towards the sun.

Cedarstar
With a slight wheeze from the smoke, Cedarstar frowned in thought. "The pines and fields were destroyed in the fire, and the prey won't return there for quite some time..." He glanced quietly around at his warriors, his eyes catching the small reminders of the fire. The burn marks across some of their pelts. The slight wheeze in their breath. The beginning of their ribs starting to show. He sighed, mind flitting over the problem of prey. So much had been lost in the fire, and prey was scarce. "I would say the least damaged area was near the marshes, the water stopped much of the fire from spreading there. so we might find the best luck there." His eyes flicked towards Fawnstep and he gently beckoned her forwards. "What do you think, Fawnstep? Or you Snowshine?" He glanced again at Crowshadow as well. "Would you agree?"

"Thats good, I surprisingly found a nice sized rabbit this morning,but in the marshes we can find frogs, fish, lizards so there will be a much larger amount of prey." Snowshine said her tail slightly swishing back and forth.

Fawnstep
Fawnstep was caught off guard by Cedarstar calling her over, and she shuffled over to him. "Yes, Cedarstar. I think the water did stop the fire" she said quietly, and finally managed to looked into the cat's eyes. She froze with terror, but realized when most of them looked kind, and not the type who would tease her. "Do you think that there would be more prey there? Maybe water voles...." She surprised herself by talking, to other cats! Quickly, Fawnstep stared at her paws, and shuffled them slightly. She flicked her ear, remembering the fire, and how it was one of the most terrifying moments of her life. Fawnstep lightly lifted her paw, and stared at it. The fur had grown over, but the burn still hurt her paw. She shook her head, knowing that her injuries were minor compared to other cats.

CROWSHADOW

Crowshadow nodded. "Yes, I agree. " He began to think about this situation. Crowshadow knew for sure that the fire had wiped out all of Shadowclan territory. He could not be certain about the other clans's territory. He considered his skills at catching fish. He never really tried it and wasn't sure how he felt about getting his paws wet but it was needed. The clan's lack of food was starting to show. Their strength was almost completely destroyed along with the other clans when the fire came. The thought of the fire still lingered in the clan's mind. The raging fiery jaws that engulfed all signs of life. Though the fire had been bright the world was completely dark from the smoke. Crowshadow closed his eyes trying to clear the image from his mind. "I'm ready to go." He commented. He needed to hunt, clear his mind, and take care of his new clan.
