Blazingfire stretched and took a big piece of prey before bringing it to the nursery. "Swallowfern, I've brought you something."

"Thanks," Swallowfern dipped her head gratefully. She held the prey in her jaws and began ripping off small chunks to eat.

Aspenkit purred as she rubbed against her mother's fur.

Blazingfire looked down at Aspenkit and purred. "She's adorable Swallowfern." She had probably said that a hundred times but now, but kits were always adorable to her. "One day I hope to have kits of my own."

Cinderpaw slid out of the apprentice den, yawning. Her blind eyes were narrowed, and as piercingly beautiful as ever. Trotting forward, she sniffed the air; Blackpaw's scent drifted over her nose, and her ears pricked. Perhaps, he would like to go hunting with her? Trotting over to him, she dipped her head. "Hey Blackpaw, are you up for some hunting? She meowed, flicking her tail. "I don't want to go out alone."

Bluepelt was sitting at the edge of the camp, grooming himself, waiting for any assigned patrols.

Swallowfern nodded in sympathy and continued eating.

Aspenkit padded a few steps away from her mother, toward Blazingfire. "Hewo!" she mewed happily in her 1 moon old kit voice.

Smallnose also joined the queen, her kit, and Blazingfire. "How are you, Swallowfern? Has Aspenkit been doing well? Any problems?" The she-cat meowed, dipping her head briefly to Blazingfire.

Pinemist returned to camp with a plump squirrel and two voles, eyes shining. The tom lay them both down, then glanced around. Maybe he could find and talk to Blazingfire?

"I'm fine," Swallowfern purred, "And Aspenkit's doing well," she then turned to Aspenkit, "Right Aspenkit?"

Aspenkit smiled and nodded in agreement.

Swallowfern looked back to Smallnose. "Yeah, no problems that I know of,"

Blackpaw was wrestling with his sister when Cinderpaw came up to him. He chuckled, "Sure thing, Cinderpaw." The black tom jumped back from Nightpaw and padded to Cinderpaw's side. Still feeling playful, Blackpaw cuffed Cinderpaw's ear. "Bet I'll catch more prey than you." He challenged.

Nightpaw stood up and shook the loose dirt off her black pelt. She fluffed up, "Hey! I wanna hunt too you know." She purred and licked her paw to clean her face really quick. Her whiskers quivered in excitement to do something and not be in camp bored.

Raindapple finished grooming her long pelt. She blinked her eyes and scanned the clearing. Her gaze landed on Bluepelt, she thought the tom was cute but she didn't have the guts to even say hi although she has the chance to every single day.

Leopardpelt stretch, arching his back as he got ready to go out. The spotted warrior stood up straight and trotted for the camp's entrance.

Smallnose nodded. "That's good. Need any water or prey or something?" The she-cat mewed gently.

Cinderpaw laughed, nodding. "Of course Nightpaw!" The she-cat purred, curling her tail. It was nice, to have such nice den mates. She shot them both a mischievous glance. "No, I bet I'll catch more than all of you!" With that, the blind she-cat took off, her ears pricked and nose sharp, being careful not to run into any trees. Slowing down into a trot, she waited for the others to catch up.

Bluepelt sat in the clearing, scanning the area. Raindapple caught his eye; she looked quite lonely. Perhaps, he could go give her some company. Standing up, he shook out his fur and trotted over to her. "Hey Raindapple, how's it going?" He meowed calmly, dipping his head.
