Sketch woke up and stretched. He layed underneath a tree as he listened. The birds were singing, but not their usual way. It's a warning call. Something's wrong. He got up and went to the scouts den. He noticed Zoe snoring loudly. "Where's Kaleel?" He barked loudly. Zoe just kept on sleeping. How is she a scout if she sleeps alot? he thought as he marched out of the den. He just sat underneath his tree. "Be careful, the Tall creatures are out." He saw Dawn and walk up to her,"Are you alright?"

Kaleel froze at the sound of a voice. "Who ever you are, show yourself." she demanded, though he voice quavered with fear and she stood unsteadily. She wasn't really a fighter, or a hunter, she was more of a runner.

Dawn noticed Sketch, the second he arrived in front of her. "I've heard those..., those monsters. I do think they belong to those tall creatures. It's just scary and I fear them. I fear that they destroy our home.", she said with a broken voice, her legs starting to shake. Dawn couldn't hide her fear, she couldn't hide her emotions at all. She looked up to Sketch, just to look away again, because she was ashamed of herself for beeing so weak.

Kile heard the angry voice of a kayrah. He poked his head out of the trees. "Um..uh.." he muttered

Kaleel's white fur stood out against the dark forest. It was bristled and the sent of fear came off her in waves. "Show yourself!" she demanded again, unable to see him in the trees.

"Alright" Kile growled, silently stepping out of the trees. "I'm here. Sorry if I was disturbing something special."

Kaleel simply stared at him, another loud growl resounding through the forest and causing her to jump. This stranger wasn't on their land, and he wasn't hunting or anything, so he was no threat. for now. She'd tell Sketch about him, though. "I need to get back to my home. I'd advise you to go back to your own." she said simply, turning away from him before plunging into the forest again.

"I don't have a home" Kile said. "I came here to look for one. It seems like a good place to be."

Kaleel stopped. "What? No home? I'm sure Sketch will give you a fair chance. Follow me." she said, poking her head through the leaves once more.

Sketch wiped her tears away,"It's okay, those monsters are frightening. But they may stop eventually. We can always find a new home." He sat down beside her and smiled,"Even I'm going to run away from those monsters. Not even our tribe could take down one of those things, let alone millions."
