Echostar nodded. "Great!" she exclaimed, proud once again of her wonderous Clan. "I was thinking we should do the half by Sunrocks and go up to the cactus forest" she said thoughtfully.

"Ok, let's go!" Splashingriver exclaimed as he raced out of the shark bone.

[dr. pugs]

Echostar was pleased for the young warrior's enthusiasm as she raced after Splashingriver. The wind buffeted her fur as she kicked up sand, it flying behind her. Finally, she slowed as they reached the first scent marker, a large rock that led out into a bunch of rocks called Sunrocks.

[Quitting•]

"Ah, the rocks will be on fire today," Splashingriver commented after replacing the scent mark.

[dr. pugs]

Echostar nodded. "We'd have to throw some sand over it just to cool it down enough to lay on!" she laughed.

"Remember to be careful when we're in the tunnels. I don't want anyone to get hurt." Bramblestrike said. He turned and padded into the tunnel, and was swallowed by the darkness.

[Quitting•]

"Ha ha, yeah" Splashingriver chuckled.

Silverwater followed Bramblestrike into the tunnels, using her nose more than her sight to follow the deputy.

Bramblestrike sniffed the air as the tunnel grew bigger, alert for prey or predators.

Echostar glanced ahead and squinted. "Right over there, I see the cactus forest. Lots of birds there. Think we could catch one or two for the Clan?" she asked Splashingriver.
