Ed started laughing at how annoyed Banzai was because of his lost prey. The laughing hyena sat under next to their home, the elephant skull. With his paws covering his eyes, Ed's laughter ringed in the graveyard, probably scaring away any small thing there.

By now, the sheer magnitude of the wildebeest's escape had sunk into Banzai's head. When's the next time I'm gonna eat? he thought worriedly. When's the next time something like that is gonna happen? He watched, frustrated, as the calf rejoined the wildebeest herd. All that food and I can't have it! Gah! Where's Shenzi? Maybe she could help. He hadn't seen the hyena matriarch for a while. Suddenly, he heard a loud bout of laughter. "Ed!" he muttered. "Pfft...probably gloating."

Shetani was lounging in the Outlands atop a small termite mound, flicking the tip of her long tail in the typical cheetah fashion. Suddenly, she saw a lioness creeping away from something. "That's Vitani," Shetani muttered. "Wonder what she's doing?"

Vitani snuck into some grass. She spied on other Outlanders

He couldn't help but just laugh some more, falling onto his back. But when the voice of Shetani got to him, he stood up automatically. Still giggling under his nose at times.

Tabu

What is there to laugh about ?! Tabu spat out as he stood a couple of meters away from the two hyenas, with his eyes narrowed and head low. He didn't mind them most of the time, but he hasn't ate for a while and that was getting on his nerves.

Banzai rolled his eyes at Ed. "Yeah...go on...laugh!" he snarled, wincing slightly as his stomach growled painfully. "But don't expect me to be all sympathetic if it happens to you!" He was confused when Ed stood up. "What is it?" he asked curiously.

Shetani still watched Vitani. Looks like she's spying on something, she thought. Well, I guess I'll be spying on her, then-- She jumped, startled, when she heard Ed's laughter. "Oh, it's only that stupid hyena," she sighed, with relief. She usually scorned the hyenas, except perhaps Shenzi. But Ed...probably the worst one of all, in the cheetah's opinion. "If he was any stupider," she muttered, "He'd be dead."
