She smiled and walked over also. She picked out a small plump finch. She laid down and placed the small bird in front of her. Featherpaw waited for Echolight to take a bite of her food before she started eating.

Echolight took a bite of her meal. Squirrel was her favourite prey. She waited for Featherpaw to start eating before she continued.

Featherpaw took a huge bite out of the finch. She looked up at Echolight with her mouth full and feathers stuck to her lips. She swallowed and kept eating the juicy bird.

Echolight purred and continued to eat her squirrel. When she finished she stood up and waited for Featherpaw to finish as well to see what she wanted to do. She was up for some training if that's what the apprentice wanted. If not she was happy to stay in the camp as well.

Featherpaw purred when she finished her meal. She got up and walked to her mentor. "Can we train please!" She smiled and begged. She was in the mood and also she wanted to train harder for tomorrow when she was going hunting with Echolight.
