Chevy's blue eyes melted in understanding. "That's fine." He said. He tried not to look pained, and hoped it didn't show. But inside his heart melted. He knew she'd probably go with Arco. He was just happy she was tolerant of his huge self for a few days.

Chevy kit a branch as he walked. "Dammit!" He cursed himself for it. It left a small scratch, and he could feel blood trickle into his eyes. He shook his head to clear it. It would get better.
