Birchstorm headed outside and scented the air. "Stormstar, or Loststar?" he asked.

Shadowpaw's eyes opened wide. "Y-yes," he stammered.

"Stormstar, nobody's seen him," Softpelt mewed.

Owlstar took a deep breath, then looked at Shadowpaw, thinking he'll do the same. "I, Owlstar, leader of SunClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Shadowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Birchstorm nodded. "Now let's go find him. Hopefully, we won't have to step into SunClan territory..."

Shadowpaw was shaking. "Y-yes," he said quietly. "I do." he said more confidently.

Softpelt charged out of camp. "Follow me!"

Tinyshadow lumbered out of the medicine den. The injured she-cat settled down in a sunny spot across camp and kept her ears pricked. She knew she would be chastised for leaving without permission, but she didn't want to sit around anymore.

Softfeather finished off her mouse quietly and got up for the meeting. Tpp bad Tallstep's missing this... She mused. The she-cat watched quietly as the ceremony went on.

Smallpaw listened to her mentor silently.

Ravenpaw had a few herb piles in front of him and he began to sort them into piles of useful herbs that were safe to use and ones that had gone bad.

Blossompaw waited silently to do something with her mentor Owlstar, hoping it would be after the ceremony.

Honeyfrost tucked into a shrew in the MoonClan camp.

Talonpaw took the moss from Echopaw and began to form nests in the nursery.

Flamerunner gathered with the clan and proceeded to watch the ceremony.

Owlstar continued, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Shadowpaw, from this moment you will be known as Shadowmist. StarClan honors your hunting skills and caution, and we welcome you as a full warrior of SunClan." She finished and rested her muzzle briefly on his head.

Birchstorm ran after Softpelt. "Where are we going?"
